I think that it is time that the police seriously investigated the possibility that Mr McCann set this whole thing up as a money making exploit, with or without the knowledge of his wife. Before anyone starts shouting abuse at me,think about it. It is possible. It would explain why he is seemingly coping very well with the whole thing. There are too many peculiarities with the story and the whole Team McCann thing is annoying

1) how do you know how he is coping privately.
people are different. People react differently and people would criticize whatever way he reacted in public.

2) any real life situation has 'peculiarities'. It's only fools and conspiracy nuts that need everything to be instantly explainable.

3) If you dont like team McCann, please explain why?
please explain how you would deal with the loss of a child. Consider this: your actions will be minutely examined by the many simple minded fools who would follow your story in the media.
Consider this: any apparent disagreement between you and your partner will be considered suspicious (to some people) and grounds for thinking that you are a child murderer
Consider this: you will get conflicting advice from all sides, and if you dont follow any one person's piece of advice, that person will assume that you are a child murderer.

I am so sorry that a couples attempts to try and find their child 'annoy' you. Obviously you are a very wise person and have all the answers. I am so sorry they did not come to you as soon as the child went missing, obviously she would have been found by now and we could all get busy stoning the McCann parents as they onviously deserve.

To be honest if I were the police I would lock the McCanns up for neglect. That way you could possibly spend the money that they have gained from this fiasco on some extra police to go and actually look for Madeleine. It seems more sense than leaving them to go and meet the pope in the hope that he will somehow help find a missing child.

I personally think the McCanns family should come back to the UK. the tax payer is paying for them to stay over there. There are 1000's of children missing all over the UK. and we are not helping them as much as we are helping the McCann family.

I really dont understand how you can come to this conclusion after watching news clips, unless that is of course you have spent quite sometime in Portugal with the McCanns. I am interested to know how you know he is coping well..please share....

Nobody knows anything anymore. Stories keep changing. They still haven't been punished for what they done in the first place. Where will it all end. I would love to wake up one day and hear little Madeleine has been found and the story is over. But I can't see that happening in the near future anyway and by then the parents will get a knighthood and be labelled hero's. Sick isn't it. I hope this does not start a new craze with other parents.

Whether it's annoying or not to you my friend, there is a little girl out there probably scared and alone who misses her mum and dad dearly. Can you actually imagine what it must be like to lose a child, especially when you have that guilt that the McCanns will have within them from leaving her on her own. They have to unite as a family to get through this awful time, and whether a person like you finds this 'annoying' or not, they have to do everything in their power to get Madeleine back.
And no, the theory about Gerry McCann doing setting this up is absoultely absurb and personally I'm ashamed to call myself a member of the human race and be amongst these people who believe he could do something like this.
Instead of speculating over 'theories' why don't you make an effort into helping bring Madeleine back instead of insulting a family who is already going through as much pain as 'Team McCann' already are.
