living in Oxford with the in-laws living in the same area as the guy I am disgusted and sickened. I think the Judge seriously needs to be investigated if he finds this crime and sentance acceptable. I have a young child and other young relatives in the area why should they be subjected to any kind of unnecessary risks. In this county we have people being locked up for longer for far more minor crimes than abusing a child. Paul D I beleive the girl was around 10 years old however claiming to be 16 the guy is 25.

This is Judge Halls track record, personally I find it disgusting
In February this year, Judge Hall told pensioner Eric Cole, 71, who sexually abused a six-year-old girl, to compensate her with money for a new bike.
It emerged today Judge Hall spared another paedophile a jail term after sentencing Fenn.
Married father-of-two Brian Haines, 68, of Emmer Green in Reading, admitted sexual assault on a girl under 13. But Judge Hall gave him a three-year supervision order, placed him on the Sex Offenders' Register for five years and banned him for life from working with under-16s.

It's our problem , and by that I mean us the public , we have let the govenment dictate to us , what they think is good for us.
They are there to comply to the wishes of the people , and should do so , and when I state Govenment I don't mean Labour , I class every party as the same , because they are all the same in the end useless
As for peodofiles being released , no I agree with you compleatly , but I don't agree to your statement that you whould rather see a murderer released as I whould prefer to see both sectors kept away from the public , and by that I mean for life.
The legal System should be reviewed , as it is clear it no longer works , as life no longer means life , and scum bags laugh in the face of law and order.
I say bring back hanging ( for those that there is no doubt about certain crimes )

In reality although the police & maybe even the judges know the accused to be guilty.....having solid proof to take into court & sentence appropriately is entirely another subject....even having once got through to taking the defendant to court it isn't as easy as an open & shut case may appear to be..........so by law their hands are tied at times as to the final outcome.
Sometimes it just seems to appear that they're (paedophiles) getting away with it all too easily....I don't know why the judges don't use the power they have sometimes to the full.
10 years ago, statistically 9/10 paedophiles were never being brought to justice because of the difficulty in proving such a crime.....I don't know what the statistics are today though.....probably no better.

I know it annoys me so much, people like that Judge are as bad as the person who he has let off,I know what id do with all the kufing pedos,in the world,In our area were i live,we have a block of flats, facing a school full of Infant children, and Junior children, and there are pedos living in the block of flats watching the children playing in the school grounds, what sense is that please?every time i walk past the flats it kills me to think that there are pedos only yards away from a school,It was the security person in the flats told everyone he knew about the pedos living in the flats,i say good for the security person in the flats, for warning people about the PEDOS living in the flats.

They should all be castrated then left to the family of the child. If they haven't got a dick then they can't re-offend. Instead they get protected in prison, let out into the community and probably given a house near a school. British justice is a joke and many of the judges are nonces themselves!

Judges seem to be be the only people who seem to like paedophiles. Time and time again they come up before a 'sympathetic' judge. The judges seem to be so morally perverse that it wouldn't surprise me if paedophilia was legalised soon. The last thing the Courts seem to want is the protection of the public from any type of criminal so watch this space.

Is it the same judge? What is up with this? I dont think even here in the US pedo's are sentenced harshly enough. Have one down the street from me that was locked up only 7 mos. He lives with his children also and the judge has allowed that.

It's great how everyone's got an opinion on this, yet there's no link to the story, it could be a 16 year old boy and his 15 year old girlfriend.

Pedophiles can only reach a child who has been left unguarded by their caregiver/parent who has a responsibility to ensure their safety.as well as the community the child lives within. When the parents or community are preoccupied with other events or meetings where children are excluded, that in itself puts the child at risk. The harm to the child is devastating and sometimes deadly. but choosing to release a murderer as a comparison is only a means to relieve a guilty conscious for the unpreventable offense.
