I know that they have jobs, but I dont know what they are. Also is it true that the Buckingham Palace Guards are not allowed to move or show expressions when the tourists tease them? I would be interested to know these things. Thank you guys

The Royal family does as little for England as
the Royal U.S. Congress does for the United States.
Unproductive. Pomp and circumstance. High-falutin' self-grandiosity. Squander taxpayers' money.

I'm not from England but the Queen is the Head of State in Canada and any other Commonwealth country. She's basically representative and symbolic with very little actual political influence.

I am not from England but I can tell you what I know. They are just for protocol formality. The will entertain foreign leaders, present in official ceremony, visit others countries for some sort of diplomatic smoothness. Other than that they don't have any say on national and foreign policy. They are just symbol and figure for England.

yes the beefeaters ( palace guards )do not move , we tried making them when we were kids but those guys dont even twitch

Ponce off the rest of us, they dont even want to pay for the up keep of their home. They are getting even richer. The Duchies of Cornwall is a frow back to feudal times. And they dont pay tax. The Queen pays £1 income tax per year.
