It's a very personal decision and the right time for one is not the right time for another. For some it may be when they are barely into their teens and for others well into their twenties.

I think when you've got a steady boyfriend and you've got some life experience behind you is a good time; but then, the first time is usually a disappointing mess both for her and him so maybe for some people a one-night stand isn't such a bad thing.

I think you would know when you're ready.

Wait until you're at least in your early to mid-20's, at the minimum. I know morals dictate wait until you're married, but not all girls these days wish to get married early in life (some may say they don't want to be married ever), and if you DON"T want to get married, then when ARE you going to do it? But a steady relationship and life experience beforehand are a good thing.

Besides, staying a virgin until marriage is hazardous to your brain cells. Just ask Jessica Simpson and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Both were virgins on their wedding nights (I even read that Elizabeth annouced this unnecessarily on "The View") and look at how ditzy and dumb they regularly are.

A good age is when a girl is in her early 20's when she pretty much has her life almost planned out. When you are too young and you do it you don't really know what you are doing in life so its best to wait till your early 20's i think. But not everybody can wait that long. But i think its safer to wait.

the longer a girl keeps her virginity, the better her life will be in the long run. the world has more than enough single mothers now. i know my daughters both say they regret giving it up before they were married.

Virginity is not something girls are obligated to lose. It is not excess weight. It is not a bad habit. It is not a disease. On the contrary, those are often the result of "losing" virginity rather than waiting to mature and marry first.

After you are married because it is so complicated when you are younger. Just be a teen al long as possible, worry about what you want out of your life and not what others want. Be true to yourself and everything else will fall into place.

20? I wouldn't have sex with anyone younger than that anyway.

I don't get the thumbs down. Does that mean I should have sex with women under the age of 20? I'm confused.
