I had still been sleeping when the first plane had hit due to my work schedule, when I got a call to turn on the TV and just then see the 2nd plane hit it was such a confusion to wonder how two major planes hit. Then to really here the news and know other planes had been hijacked and realize we would be responding with major actions very soon. I also started trying to think who I knew might be in NY or DC at the time and worrying if any were in planes or the Trade Center.

I immediately thought of looking out the window of an airplane, as we often do, and thought of the terror the passengers must have known in the final moments. And then i began to think of what kind of person could look out the windshield and fly directly into a building? I thought i could not do that except on powerful drugs. i concluded these people had to be on drugs of some kind. then i thought of kamikaze pilots in ww2, they did it. just cannot get my head around such things. guess i am not very brave. not built that way, impossible i thought. so wierd to attack the us by knocking down a nyc building with commandeered airliners since they failed with carbomb a few years earlier. they are so single-minded and odd to those like me. don't seem human. makes you consider doing ANYTHING to erradicate them and make certain no more exist i am thinking. they haven't done much so far. a silly debacle in the mideast that costs too much. the terrorists require very little money and few of them die to destroy so much. we seem to ignore that or the fools on the hill and the white house never address that enormous inequirty. pity.

I wondered how many planes were hijacked, Where we would all hide, If it was the end of time. I wondered why I just brought my only child in to this world so full of hate that we need a tragedy to pull us together.
There came no instructions. Just waited in front of the t.v. praying for the victims.

That Monday night I was on my way to work in Manhattan and the train was full of a big group that had just left a baseball game. They were all happy and loud and I kept getting this bad feeling in my stomach that I assumed was homesickness after moving to NY just a month before. Everyone kept asking me what was wrong. Also, I remember limos passing by my job really late because I think Michael Jackson was in town and my job was right across from Madison Square Garden. That Tuesday morning, I had just gotten home from working at Old Navy on 34th st (the overnight shift) when it happened. I was laid across the bed, tired as hell, with the tv on when my aunt shouted, "You would've been out there! They bombing us! They bombing us! You woulda been stuck out there!" I was like, "What the hell are you talking bout?" Then i saw it on the news, looking like a movie clip. And I just went numb. I had no feeling whatsoever. It didn't hit me until they let everybody go back to work and I had to see men on the subways covered head to toe in white dust (from helping at Ground Zero). The looks on their faces was enough to make you cry. I must've seen a million MISSING posters on my way to work everyday. Even still it didn't really hit me until going to my uncle's funeral with 3 bones in his casket.

Horror and shock, then upon examining many facts, reviews, tesitmonials, and video, realizing answers we were given were lies. There were no 19 hijackers on those planes. The actual commercial jets were never used in any of the attacks. It was inside job start to finish. Anger at Bush and associates for 'creating face of our enemy' to unify populace against unwinnable and perpetual 'war on terror' that is making him and is cronnies billions. GIving America dominant foothold in Middle east for control of mideast oil to keep nation going the quick and easy way. Insure oil supply to grow economy. Make international banking cartels BILLIONS from all the borrowed money.

Disbelief. I started watching television just before the second tower was hit. My brain could not comprehend what my eyes were taking in at all.
