Wht did Gerry McCann phone Sky news instead of the authorities. Their little girl was discovered to be missing from the apartment yet Gerry rang SKY NEWS before reporting this disappearance to the police .Why ?

This happened in 2003 and I had to literally put out a fire that was just outside my house. This year is predicted to be worse!!!! AAHHHHH!!!!!! I can feel the heat already. Cant go outside cuz of the air. and my family lives out in Ramona where the fire initialized.....

I asked a question earlier regarding if you have ever left your child alone regardless of how long.
Most were very honest answers saying yes they have.
Remember I said REGARDLESS of how long

So with that should a parent nipping to the post box ( as one honest person told me) be charged with neglect?
Should someone who needs to go into the garden for some reason leaving their children ALONE in the house also be charged with neglect
After all leaving your children alone for any amount of time is neglectful.........or is it?

It looks more and more like the U.S. will take some forcefull action against Iran.

At least two things are certain:

1) Iran will not retreat from their course of obtaining nuclear weapons

2) The USA and its allies are determined not to let this happen.

What do you think? Will there be an attack against Iran anytime soon?

If anyone has been following Nancy Grace, she said he violated that baby in every way possible, and yet the mother noticed nothing??? Come on, who is she kidding??? Nancy also said the girl's body was flacid and no expression on her face, do you think the girl had been raped prior to this? I have read that in the beginning the mother said she didn't know Stiles, then I read she did know him. Then I read he was a friend of someone she left the girl with...so I mean, did she know him? Is she just trying to cover her a$$ and not get herself into trouble??? It makes me sick to think that he is 38 years old and just now getting his a$$ thrown in jail...how many other little girls did he do this to? Sick F#*k!!!

Its about living pay check to pay check and the economy. What are your takes on it? Do you find it harder to live check to check with gas prices and etc.?

Personally, I did notice a change and I make a pretty decent salary. Sometimes it doesn't seem like it stretches the way it used to, but luckily I balance myself and never have to worry.

as an Englishman who currently owns many major US based companies i feel i must ask this.
I have noticed that recently questions on this site have become a little predictable and tiresome.
I use this site as a business tool, mainly for advice on how to care for the Americans that i own and many of these questions are starting to influence my Americans..

I don't know if they have anything do with their daughters disapearence, but if you use the public and the media in the shameful way they have, then if you are named suspects then you can't blame anyone else for how people treat you. Private jets, 5 star hotels, selling Maddy merchandise then using the money for everything but finding Maddy. They could have done it so differently, but because Gerry insists on being in everyones face 24/7, then what does he expect? Even now, doesnt he realise that spending the fund on all the pr spin and having Clarence bloody Mitchell talking everyday he is doing more harm than good. Why can't they just disapear for a while and work on their posters or whatever and get out of our faces?

Maybe its just because of where I come from that I know if I left my small children without proper supervision I'd be in so m uch trouble. But howcome they aren't even in trouble for leaveing them unattended? Also why do people get all pissy when I point this out? I mean come on its not responsible leaving three children ages 3 and under by theirselves I don't care if they were asleep they could have woke up and needed someone or something. They aren't capable of careing for theirselves.

Do you think the reason there has been such a negative backlash towards the Mccans is because they are middle class and doctors and seemingly respected in their local community.
Forget whether they did it or not but socially are we more likely to want to believe the mighty middle class can have the same criminal and social problems the working class does.

CHILD WELFARE!!!!!
This is the woman who STILL sees no harm in going out on the beer every night while her 3 babies were left alone and vulnerable in a foreign apartment with the door left open. Who is suspected of DRUGGING her children so she could go out PARTYING. Who is the MAIN SUSPECT in the DISAPPEARANCE and PROBABLE death of her daughter.
The arrogance of the woman knows no bounds. Does she really feel that she has any credibility left as a mother let alone someone who can advise other people on how best to look after their children. My question is, Is Kate deluded? How can she imagine that anyone would listen to her regarding child welfare??????

It was repeatedly stated here on YA that the twins HAD to have been sedated for them to have been so oblivious to whatever happened to their sister, Madeleine.

Now that it has been proved conclusively that the McCann's twins were not sedated the night Madeleine was snatched,
do any of the accusers feel remorse or guilt at accusing them without proof?

exclusive interview to Spains Antenna 3 TV station to be shown tonight at 11.30pm. I have seen a preview and it showed Kates mum sobbing and saying how much they miss Madeleine etc. I have always felt very sympathetic towards the grandparents as I believe that they are suffering terribly over Madeleines "disappearance". However, I don't see why they have decided to jump on the publicity bandwagon. Just what are they hoping to achieve. My guess is that Clarence Mitchell wants to use their distress to pull heart strings and make people feel sorry for Kate and Gerry. My question is, Haven't we got enough with Kate and Gerry without the grandparents jumping on the publicity and PR bandwagon. Kates use of Cuddle Cat in every appearance is nauseating. Cold,calculating Kate and arrogant manipulative Gerry are now set to exploit their parents genuine distress to try and get the sympathy vote.
