It looks more and more like the U.S. will take some forcefull action against Iran.
At least two things are certain:
1) Iran will not retreat from their course of obtaining nuclear weapons
2) The USA and its allies are determined not to let this happen.
What do you think? Will there be an attack against Iran anytime soon?

Yes, the way Bush and Cheney keep ratcheting up their anti-Iran rhetoric, they will indeed launch a bombing campaign against Iran before they leave office. There will be no invasion, there just are not enough U.S. troops available for that to happen

Not likely as long as Iran doesn't attach the U.S.
and when a big dog like Russia is on there side
it might trigger WW3 No one wants that... Iran will push it to the limit though

Are you sure Iran would not attack the U.S. first?
I do believe it makes more sense to fight a battle before the other side gets WMD, not after.
Waiting for Saddam to have a chance to blackmail the U.S. with nuclear arms might have been an unforgivable mistake.
Deciding what needs to be done vis a vis Iran is many times more important than what is going on in Iraq.
Diplomatic alternatives are needed but will they succeed without military bluster? A little more Texas Hold 'Em maybe be needed.

i might say 50/50. it somewhat is a tough call because of the fact we don't opt to have yet another disaster like we've in Iraq. particular this is not an invasion, besides the shown fact that it could nevertheless harm our distant places kin much greater.

yes it will all kick off. i have been watching the international news very closely and i personally do not think the USA will start it all. I have my suspicions that either an outsider will set things off!!! or there will be an internal Iranian Coup. Whatever happens its going to get worryingly interesting! God help us all!!!
