According to the testimony of the workers at Mark Warner and of the neighbour in the apartment directly above the children were left alone night after night.

Or Maybe Kate's question should have been "If we had not left her alone then we would not be in this sorry situation now and Madelaine would still be alive!"? I think it is cruel beyond words to go out and leave a child crying. A child cries for a reason and it may have been that Madelaine did not want to be left alone??? I have 2 sons now older but as kids I would never have left them alone. I hated them crying for long either so would always pick them up, and cuddle them when crying. I am just amazed that The McCanns can still sleep at night! And for the record i do not hate the Mc Canns I just simply despise what they have done.

They were left alone every evening whilst the parents went to dinner. They were put into creche twice a day. They were looked after by a nanny back at home. They were left alone on other holidays. Poor children, they were constantly packed off somewhere!

Not just 6 nights in Portugual, check out what happened in Greece in the summer of 2006 The McCanns openly confessed that thats where they perfected their 'rotation child care' technique where they take turns to 'look in' on each others children while they are sleeping.

The Pro McCanns convieniently overlook this fact and repeat the mantra that it was a one off 'mistake' that they left their children on 3rd May.

possibly

she certainly spent time in the creche

as for being left alone every night - why should we think otherwise?
it would be very difficult to target the mccann family if you were an abductor if they spent their evenings in the apartment with their children
if they were being watched there must have been enough of a pattern in their behaviour for someone to allegedly break into their apartment and to then steal a child

too far fetched (even for the most ardent pro-mccanns) to suggest this was a one off and the abductor was just mega lucky........he'd have expected a parent or two or even a babysitter to be present (unless he knew better from watching their behaviour over a few days)

I had posh acquaintances once and their idea of a 'family' holiday was pretty similar to their idea of 'family' life On their 'Sun and Sail' Greek holiday, it was kiddies (4 in all, because they were rich) in creche at 9am collected at 5pm. Don't think they left them alone at night though.

All day in the creche till 6pm, even then given tea by the Nanny (pennington) and then put to sleep at 7pm. Mum and dad out by 8.30.

I agree Angel is right.

Sure most parents leave their kids alone when the children are sleeping. Ask anyone you know that has kids.

apparently so. For a woman who had to have those kids by IVF, and who has a nanny at home all week, you'd have thought she'd at least want to spend time with them on holiday
