I really feel for the grandparents to. They miss that little girl so much, all this though really is making me mad how does Kate and Gerry really think its going to affect them when the truth(if is ever does) comes out. I have always had an open mind about this as some of you already know but by getting more and more people to jump on the bandwagon to me this is just making Kate and Gerry look more and more guilty. The thing is they have gone all over Europe giving out flyer's etc but in my eyes they haven't ever behaved like parents that just lost a daughter, Where was the breakdown on TV when giving interviews they have always to me looked calm and together I know that if my daughter disappeared they would have to have me on suicide watch for really I cant imagine how I would feel if that happened to me but ha ho they are playing the game really well in my eyes. For the grandparents and the twins I really hope they are innocent as that will destroy the rest of the family but that is only my opinion.

It's a shame the grand-parents feel they have to go on television to show the world how they feel.
I'll watch that interview tonight, if I remember. I don't see the point of it myself as it isn't going to find Madeleine.
I don't think many people care tuppence about how Kate & Gerry feel but they do care about Madeleine. All the grand-parents are doing is highlighting Kate and Gerry again - it's ALWAYS about Kate & Gerry, and hardly EVER about Madeleine.

"They miss her" ... they miss her??!! What they miss is the bloody point.
What they should be sobbing about is what Madeleine may have, or may be, going through. Missing her should frankly be the least of their concerns. But then it has always been about the family hasn't it.
I am afraid I am being harsh, but this has seriously annoyed me. THINK ABOUT THE LITTLE GIRL - NOT YOURSELVES ALL THE TIME.

Dreadful position for the grandparents to be in and I do feel for Kates father, he is not a well man.
I do however feel that anybody related or friends with the McCanns should also be included in the gagging order as this daily commentary on the couple is getting out of control and is not helping anybody.

You find the parents nauseating, cold, calculating and arrogant. You don't see the distress in their faces, but you acknowledge the grandparent's distress.
Well, maybe that is why the grandparents feel the need to get on the "bandwagon". They want their granddaughter back.
Honestly, no one makes you watch the programmes. You should question why you feel such a strong need to do so, especially as you aren't sympathetic to the cause.
Well said, Skiddoo.

Little weed - actually Murat is still an official suspect.
I think it's right that Madeleine's parents speak out publicly in an interview. So much speculation and misquotes have been flying around in the media that it is only right that the grandparents are able to set the record straight and stop the media putting words in their mouths...
If it's ok for the public and media to speak out then why is it wrong for the grandparents? double standards maybe?

I feel the whole family and their spokesmen should keep quiet. I understand they want to stand up for family but they do more harm than good and just end up complicating matters and dropping the McCanns deeper in it.

Trancebabe, i don't see how you can blame Kate & Gerry McCann for the interview given by their parents...
You say you feel sympathetic towards Madeleine's grandparents. Surely then, you'll understand that that they'll want to do anything & everything to spread awareness about their precious Granddaughter???
I find calling spreading awareness about Madeleine a "publicity bandwagon" really sad. Its not like they have many options to keep their baby in the public eye. They are doing all they can do spread awareness & must bear the brunt of that, as well.
