Have they made to much of the not so common eye disorder. Unless u are really close u will not notice it. The girl could be wearing shades or even now using contact lense to cover it up.. So people who do see her will think oh its not as her eyes is "normal".

Surely if they have taken her people can easily make her look diffrent.. Dye her hair.. cut it so short she looks like a boy..contact lenses,shades..Dress her as a boy..

I know it would be hard putting a lense on a child... as i have tried to use them once and took me hours..but not impossible..

So what worries me could we walk past Maddie and not even notice her..as we have these images drummed into our hearts..

I like the rest of us hope she is found safe and happy xx

Its been on

£946,843.92

Why are they too scared to put

£1,000,000?

Honestly I think its delibrate they arent updating this figure any longer.

Maybe its for money laundering purposes (and before you shoot me down on this, then fine, have the McCanns open their books to the general public, and I will quieten down of the fund)

Bottom line, is no longer do we know what money is going out, we dont even know what money is going in.

Hell of a way to run a 'charity'.

Whats going on in the media? I read 3 papers this morning all reporting differnet statements from the police overseas.
1 claims they are hours away from proving who did it.
1 says they dont have a clue where she is and are no closer to solving the crime.
And 1 says that the blood found may not have been hers and police are looking at new lines of investigation.

This is NOT a question about being anti or pro Mccann, I just want opinions on the media coverage surrounding the case.
Do they say too much too soon without getting facts straight just to sell papers? Or are the police really giving out different infornation every few hours?

Now that their fabricated superficial facade of naivety is visibly melting away along with their popularity just what now for the McCanns?
Do they stay in Portugal and risk becoming the main focus of suspicion and contempt from the locals or do they come home and risk Social Services and therefore the possible loss of the twins, and the potential loss of their jobs in the medical world?

Just goes to show how much money our government has and how hard it is to keep track of it. Someone isn't doing their job right.

If thats possible! Islamic extremists have now turned their attention to the Yazidi people, an ethnic and religious minority in Iraq, slaughtering two to three hundred in a bomb attack. Why are muslims worldwide not in uproar over the murder, rape, ethnic cleansing and surpression of minorities in muslim countries then? Hmmm perhaps these events are less offensive than a few cartoons, and that muslims secretly condone these actions?

This just highlights the plight of Minorities such as Assyrians/Chaldeans,Turcomen, Mandeans, Yezidis, Shabaks, Armenians etc who were being slaughtered under Saddam, and are continuing to be slaughtered because of their race and religion (Assyrians, Yazidis, Mandeans, Armenians), their race alone (Turcomans, Shabaks) or their religion (Tlkifs)

It seems to me it would have been better of staying part of India on independence in 1947, or staying under British control.

After all it has a failing economy, is riven by corruption, lawlessness, islamic extremism, dictatorship, religious, ethnic and sexual bigotry and discrimination,is culturally and artistically stagnant, and has contributed nothing positive to the world at large.

India is far from perfect, however it does have democracy, the caste system is being challenged, its economy is thriving, and it has inventive scientific, medical and artistic scenes.

It seems the Indian people and their way of life is somewhat superior to me!

Todays blog:

"Our accommodation is a very modest family home and, most definitely, not a luxury villa, as was reported in one of the Portuguese newspapers yesterday. I can confirm that it does not have a swimming pool, 2 storeys and in fact was amongst the cheapest accommodation available, at short notice, in Luz in August. I would also like to point out that Madeleines fund has not paid for any of our accommodation in Portugal."

How come everywhere I turn, everything is NOT being paid for by the fund, but has been donated. If no-one is paying for anything, why do they need a million quid?

Ok, first off im going to say that I respect all religions and that I admire the faith that people have in their God, I mean that sincerely.

However I do not believe in God. I wish I did, I would love to think that their was a heaven where my passed loved ones went too, although I wouldnt imagine i would join them, this question alone would have the gates closed against me.......

I strongly believe in science because I have the facts and evidence to show me.

The aftermath of the earthquake in Peru left 200+ buried in a church in Pisco whilst they were waiting for a service. Not meant as an insult, however in the interest of debate I am interested in what religous believers make of this. If God wanted to give a sign let the church be the only building standing........

Crushed in the house of God?.........why would that be,

I hear lots of people talking about how the United states helped start the taliban? Is this true? Articles in the internet have said that during the cold war or somethin the Us gave money to pakistan and afghanistan to start a group to help kick the russians out of there country. We usually do send money/troops to the country being invaded to support them. But, this time it backfired on to us. What do you think?
