I hear lots of people talking about how the United states helped start the taliban? Is this true? Articles in the internet have said that during the cold war or somethin the Us gave money to pakistan and afghanistan to start a group to help kick the russians out of there country. We usually do send money/troops to the country being invaded to support them. But, this time it backfired on to us. What do you think?

Probably mainly true, just as the US once gave Osama Bin laden money and support.

It has backfired more than one time. We supported Castro and his takeover of Cuba.
