No issue can be discussed without knowing background information. I decided to see what my stance is on what is happening with GWB, oil, and war. Accusations get thrown around, its a heated topic. I have a very simple question:
WHERE can I find facts that are not politically slanted on this topic? I want to develop an opinion, but I don't want to develop someone else's opinion.
If you have a fact to state, whatever side you are on, please list it. List it in all it's lonesome stark and truthful glory. I doubt anyone on here knows GWB personally or knows even a smidge of the information that is released the the president of the united states, so what do you know about this topic that makes you believe what you do? This is your chance to talk to someone who is really listening. Your information will be taken more to heart if you back it up with a source.

The under-fire Portuguese police are preparing to take a fresh look at reports of two earlier break-ins in the apartment block where Madeleine McCann and her family stayed.

Both burglaries - one in the apartment directly above the McCann's flat - are understood to have happened two weeks before the family of five arrived at the Mark Warner Ocean Club in Praia da Luz.

One was believed to have been committed by someone with a key to the burgled apartment.

Disclaimer: IF YOU'RE BORED OF MCCANN QUESTIONS (and I really don't blame you if you are) THEN DON'T ANSWER THEM!

If they knew of the siemic "booms" why did they ever let any one down there to start with? I have had a bad feeling about this mine from Day One.

Sounds to me as if Burean of Mines and OSHA have been failing to keep up with what was going on.

So who is it?

Brian Kennedy - July 19th

"There are big bills coming in for things we’ve produced, for travel, for accommodation while Gerry and Kate are out there."

Gerry McCann - 16th August

"I would also like to point out that Madeleines fund has not paid for any of our accommodation in Portugal."

Uhhhh ......... so someone is lying ...........

Its been reported that the McCanns had somthing to eat today !! and they have been seen wearing shoes !!!!! Its also been discovered that they also drink liquids....

How boring is that statement ? Is it as boring as most of the McCann rubbish or did it rock your boat?

....today Kate was heard to us the word "the" and then later in the day reporters and police were astonished when she appeared in public and ate a sandwich!!! And as if that wasn't enough to condemn the couple Gerry was heard to utter the word "to" in public - within earshot of a crowd whilst wearing what can only be discribed as 'shorts and a t-shirt'!!!

Now, far be it from me to jump on every little thing they do and say but I think they're subconciously admitting they had something to do with their daughter's disappearance by letting their actions and words slip like that.

What do you think?

I am not good at interpreting the stock market ups and downs, and I am a noobie on the economics.

Recently this week, every major news papers and news TVs report that there something bad happened the U.S. stock market, and it is affecting the world.

Can anyone tell me what exactly happen and explain to me in easy way?

I honestly do not know what happened to the stock market, and all I know is it is not a good sign.

Can you also tell me, how bad is it? Is it so bad that it deserves to cover the front page of the news paper?

And what will happen as a consequence of this happening?

Thanks in advance.

Yahoo News is showing a picture of 10 year old girl obviously in deep stress and anguish over the deaths and uncertainties of the coal mine rescue efforts in Utah. I think we are all hoping for good news and want to keep up to date on events, but we don't need to see pictures like this. Why does Yahoo - and other media groups - insist on showing the personal pain of these family members and others when such tragedies strike? I

Air samples taken in the mine when the rescue shaft was bored showed less than 12% oxygen. Far too low to sustain human life.
So, why then, did three other men die trying to "rescue" corpses?
Is it THAT important to have a body to bury? They're already buried!
Now three more people are dead and thier families devastated. Isn't that enough?

Do you think that with the recent cave in that killed 3 rescue workers and injured 6 others that they should stop the rescue attempt.

I understand that if it was someone in my family that was trapped down in that mine I wouldn't want them to stop, but when does it simply become to dangerous for a resucue attempt? I mean 3 others have now died and I also read that they don't even know for certain that the miners are alive.

What are your view points on this?

It looks like he wants to start another war. This time with Iran. First, his admin lied to the american people about the previous wars that only benefited his homeboys at Haliburton. Two our Armed Forces are nearly broken and a draft would make things worse. Either we are being lead by a madman or a prostitute for the companies that profit from the war.

Should YA place a small Icon on the avatar of those members who have made their Q&A's Private?

It would influence how much sincerity you would apportion to someones answer and whether their answer to any particular question was a true reflection of their thoughts, or just a wind up!

What was that sh&t you were all sprouting about "nose bleeds in the apartment". Its not even her blood!!

You people made me sick - I am glad now that the blood found in the apartment was not Maddy's. I honestly hope that something like this happens to you. Then, I hope that people exactly like you behave the way you have.

Maybe then you will understand. But - by then, possibly your child may also be dead at the hands of someone else...

A five-year-old boy has been strangled after getting his head stuck in an car's electric window. Neighbours said the boy, who has not been named, was playing with his brother when his neck became trapped.

His mother had parked the car outside their home in Croydon, Surrey, but left the engine running. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene but were unable to revive the boy. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "It is believed a five-year-old boy was playing in the family car when his head became trapped in the window. "He was taken to St George's Hospital, Tooting, but was pronounced dead."

No wonder kids are dying/getting killed and why so many end up causing trouble when they are older & not taking a blind bit of notice of adults.

In fact looking over the last 3 days in his blog (since thats as far back as it stretches now), absolutely no mention of doing any 'searching'.

He can't even be bothered with keeping up the pretence that he's actually looking for Madeliene any longer.

If the parents have given up, why does he expect the rest of us to bother?
