What was that sh&t you were all sprouting about "nose bleeds in the apartment". Its not even her blood!!

You people made me sick - I am glad now that the blood found in the apartment was not Maddy's. I honestly hope that something like this happens to you. Then, I hope that people exactly like you behave the way you have.

Maybe then you will understand. But - by then, possibly your child may also be dead at the hands of someone else...

EDIT:

You are right!
I am sorry for wishing that on another child.
However, I stand firm. I am sickened by how you have pointed fingers at the parents. What a LUCKY thing you are all perfect parents. My parents must have neglected me - I was lost in a shopping centre!! In fact, they LEFT ME THERE!! Must be how I came to be sympathetic...

I am not going to withdraw my question. Any one who knows me will understand my anger.

I have had a friend who was kidnapped and murdered. I am extremely upset by the finger pointing and plain arrogance of people on this website towards the McCanns.

Yes, they made a mistake. Neglect is a harsh word to use. Do you not think they are paying for it? Instead of having people saying how the dad killed her? That they are involved? That they know what happened?

You shouldn't wish bad on others, but I agree many of the haters are pathetic, vindictive, heartless, self-righteous, negative sheep. There, that felt better.

BTW: I think everyone agrees they were wrong to leave their kids alone, but it's something that happens everyday. REMEMBER James Bolger - left outside a shop. REMEMBER the little girl snatched from the bath, whilst her mum was downstairs?

I honestly think this is a tough one to call. I however do believe that, sad as it is, Maddie is dead. I've thought this since the day she went missing. There is still something slightly fishy about this case, and I get the impression that there's one small bit of information that the McCanns are witholding from the police, but I am hardly in a position to speculate what or why.

When the news of the blood came up, i did not immediately think "it MUST be maddie's." it's a holiday resort rather than a private residence, so that blood could easily have belonged to the previous occupants, or the ones before, or before them etc.

However it is irrefutable that the McCanns do shoulder most of the responsibility for their daughter's disappearance, and this will be with them forever. Yes they should have got a babysitter in for the evening, but no one expects in their wildest nightmares for someone to come and take their child while they've popped out for a meal. Complacency is dangerous and hindsight is a wonderful thing.

But I honestly think, good as their intentions were, the media campaign has backfired. Even if Maddie wasn't killed in the flat, even if she was held for a few days, the media coverage has exploded so far that it would now be impossible for her captors to return her, dead or alive. There are people out there baying for their blood. Everyone has their eyes peeled.

There is no way in hell that now, 107 days later, that there is a single person within reach of some form of media, who hasn't had the image of that little face burned into their retinas - she is now at the centre of one of the largest missing person hunts the world has seen. Whoever has her, could not 'leave her somewhere safe' without being spotted. They would be hunted down and caught very quickly.

A live 4-year-old can account for what has happened to them - however sad it is, killing her would buy her eternal silence. Her captors cannot possibly return her alive without the trail leading straight back to them. It is unlikely that they'll be so willing to put their necks on the line just for the sake of giving the McCanns the happy ending they so long for. They have paid the ultimate price for a foolish mistake.

I can only hope that this will teach other parents to be a little more careful with their own children in future. it is Maddie (and her twin siblings) who I feel sorry for. Not for her parents. I don't think that the McCanns would wish this experience on anyone - so why should you?

You are SHOCKING!. wether you are anti or pro McCann the one thing that has been proved is that they neglected those children by leaving them alone, agreed there have been a few on here who have gone a bit overboard with the accusations and there have been some really nasty comments, but you have now become the one thing you are ranting about, no body has wished death on a child especially poor Maddie, the tone throughout has been the hope that this child is found alive, it is the recent reports that have suggested it is possible that Maddie is now dead, and yes alot of people thought the same but that is due to the fact that Maddie has been missing for such a long time and unfortunatly that generally points to the fact that the child is no longer alive. As for the finger pointing it is a fact that the alot of kids that go missing are missing due to the actions of someone close to them, the parents and the friends of the McCanns came under public scrutiny because of the lies they told about what happened that night, the fact that the story changed so many times proves that most of what the police were told was in fact fiction, probably to cover up the fact that the children in the group were left home alone. As for the blood in the apartment no one was hoping it was Maddies, but a turn up like that is always open to speculation, Will you hang you're head in shame if another child goes missing?? you will not know if this is a child of someone on YA as we are mostly known by assumed names and you have just suggested they would have a better understanding if their child is dead at the hands of someone else. Be careful what you wish for because anything is possible.

I agree that those who immediately took it to be Madeliene's blood and therefore undisputable proof of her Parents being murderers should feel like idiots! The hatred spewed on here has been sickening!
However I would never wish anyone to go through the hell of losing a child at all! In any circumstance! Not knowing if that child is alive or not must be even worse than the lifetime of regrets and what if's that a grieving mother/father lives with for the rest of their lives. If you'd ever faced that you'd be incapable of wishing it on others believe me!
I don't condone what they did but unlike the self-righteous majority on here I know hundreds of people have done similar things (ask any Holiday resort worker especially the chalet patrollers) without paying the high price the McCanns are and they'll continue doing so! Parents don't think the worst thing will happen till it does!

We understand what he means, from the parents' point of view. Unless it's happened to you, you cannot comprehend what the parents must be going through! Just the not knowing, they say is worse than the knowing. When you know, you can move on to grieving or rejoicing. Not knowing must be pure hell on earth! Our hearts do go out to the McCanns even if we know what they did was wrong. How many times we've heard parents say, "I only left them for a few minutes!" and their child drowns, is abducted, whatever. It's sad and true; you cannot ever leave a child unattended. Let's hope angels are with Maddy along with the family.

Children are suppose to be protected at all thimes. This is the basic and most important role of parenting. So they are guilty of child neglect. My child is too precious and means more to me than anything else. Nothing comes between me and my child. (she is 4 years old in case you want to know)

I don't have children and it's a very good job too - because if I did and you wished harm on them I promise you that I would do all I could to find you and HARM YOU!!! I'm disgusted and horrified that you could wish ill on ANY children. Wishing harm to come to innocent young children is probably the sickest thing I have ever seen on this site - your anger is no excuse for what you have said at all. In trying to make others look bad you have only succeeded in showing your own true sick colors - may you rot in hell!

"Yes, they made a mistake. Neglect is a harsh word to use"

it is also the right work to use FACT like it or not.

Some of us did not speculate about the blood being Maddie's, I and many others said all along this was unlikely. Therefore I don't feel like a prat at all. I too stand firm . . . I am not anti-McCann but I am very anti their actions in failing to protect their children and the subsequent celebrity status they seem to have gained in doing this.

I feel really sorry for you. Because we are defending a
child you hope that this awful thing will happen to us!!
I don't think for a moment you have got children. But
one day you might have children and when that day comes you will have a better understanding. You are defending the
McCanns - who defended little Maddie. They were
parents who wanted to enjoy their evening with their children
tucked up in bed. Shame they left the patio door open to
make it easier for them to look in on her.
But I DO feel sorry for them because they have got to live with it for the rest of their lives. There - I feel sorry for them too
but I don't wish harm on anyone else. There are better ways of venting your anger.
