....today Kate was heard to us the word "the" and then later in the day reporters and police were astonished when she appeared in public and ate a sandwich!!! And as if that wasn't enough to condemn the couple Gerry was heard to utter the word "to" in public - within earshot of a crowd whilst wearing what can only be discribed as 'shorts and a t-shirt'!!!
Now, far be it from me to jump on every little thing they do and say but I think they're subconciously admitting they had something to do with their daughter's disappearance by letting their actions and words slip like that.
What do you think?

It's not true!! Of course it isn't!!! I'm being sarcastic. And I don't mean it in a jokey way.

Not a joke dave. I'm just getting more and more perplexed by all the random theories and guessing and other people's 'jokes' on this subject.

I agree with you completely.
Reporting has got completely out of hand and is reaching ridiculous depths of indecency.
What it all boils down to is a tragedy of circumstances. I wouldn't have left my children and I bet they really wish they hadn't left their child- so cut em some slack. The poor sod's have to live with that for the rest of their lives- and I just thank god that that I'm not feeling what they are feeling now! And I hope I never shall!
So I hope people can forgive them as they are paying a price that no-one can ever understand how terrible that is!

Thank you for this question. It is good to see that there are some people still out there with a titter of wit about them.
People really need to get of their back, what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty. I cannot see how a witch hunt is going to help the situation.

LOL! Have a star.... I laughed out loud.
That about sums up the quality of the news stories. With amazing skill like that, my friend, you could be the editor of Sky News within weeks!!
Seriously though - you are right, I reckon, the coverage of this case has been ridiculous.
Before anyone starts, Buttercup is not poking fun at either Madeleine or her parents, she is satirising the press. How anyone can miss the point of this is beyond me.

Well I suppose there will always be those that support such wrongdoing as neglecting children. I just hope that little Madeleine gets the chance to develop and grow into an adult who is able to express her point of view. I wonder what the twins will think when they are older and they find out about what happened on May 3rd.I quote philosopher Edmund Burke ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing.’

You're so right.
However the theories are getting so outlandish and bizarre, that it might actually do good - people are getting bored with them.

Is your own life so shallow that you have to pick on other peoples trauma and tragedy and try to twist it to your way of thinking? Non of us has the facts so as to be able to make an informed opinion of whether they, or anybody else are guilty of this crime. Yes they were very wrong to leave the children on their own like they did, and deserve all the criticism they get for that one action, and that one action alone, as it is the only proven thing in the case so far. I only hope that who ever was responsible for their daughters disappearance, be it the parents or anybody else, that they are caught and punished as severe a sentence as the law allows. It is time people gave this subject a rest until more evidence is forthcoming or somebody is charged with the offence. There are a lot more questions that are needing answering on here than this one that is only an echo of what has been asked before.
