Anyone who people who have their own airplanes, must drive hybrid or biodiesel cars.

Airplanes are the worst polluters of all transportation. Therefore, people who have personal airplanes should compensate for that by driving only green ground vehicles.

Anyone who supports global warming reduction efforts against this?

Some of you may have seen my handle and avatar being used to post an offensive unfunny video mocking the Virginia Tech tragedy. This is not me but some sicko who pretended to be the father of one of the victims at first posting the same video in questions and answers in a number of categories - ie spamming. I called him out on several of his threads to warn people not to fall for his scam and now he's imitating me posting the same crap. He's an immature twisted little sicko and I don't know why Yahoo hasn't banned his butt for spamming and turned over his ISP to the cops.

What to do? I've got this schizo sicko using my handle name and avatar posting this crap plus he's posting abusive comments on my Youtube videos.

He's been posting here as samurai_dave, ronindave (my youtube handle), bignastytruckdriver, father_in_mourning, and hotdogvendor and god knows what else.

What can be done about this? Has he pushed things too far to warrant investigation into his sanity?

Does Virginia have a obesity epidemic? I watched the shooting unfold and as the images came through my tv I could only see obese Americans all over the place, obese cops helping students, gluttonous students looking on etc.. Why is America so full of gluttons?

To our American cousins. I understand you are concerned about your freedom, your rights.
But don´t you think stricter gun control laws might be the way to go.
For example, this weeks Economist suggested :
"child-proof locks",
"system of registration for guns and gun-owners"
"wider blacklist of those ineligible to buy them"

I've been reading stories about the disappearance of whole bee colonies in 24 states and Europe. Seems there's a massive extinction going on very rapidly and no one knows what's causing it.

I wonder how long civilization would survive if the Bee really did go extinct all of a sudden. Bee's are responsibIe for almost all the worlds food supplies. I know other insects also pollinate, but Bees do more than all the other insects combined.

This question is for those of you who like to make those all encompassing statements. You know what I'm talking about, statements such as, "All Americans are stupid," or "Those Americans all love their guns." Why do you insist on broadly implicating 300 million United States citizens? Don't you realize how diverse the United States really is? Do you know how broad the range of political thought is? I really don't have a problem with people who disagree with the policies of our government, and I understand people may not care for certain aspects of our culture, but I do take issue with those of you who wholly dismiss my country as a collection of 300 million simpletons. For those of you with this mindset, can you please tell me why you feel this way? Before you answer, remember I'm not gearing this question to those of you who have an issue with our foreign policy (because a lot of Americans do too), but instead to those who seem to think there isn't a single good American.

i have a iranian friend and he translated some of the things the ahmadinjad said and the isreal bit was a quote from a speech by ayatulla homeni . and he said if the palestinians and jews want to live in peace then you should get rid of the state of isreal and have a new democratic country where the jews and the palestinians shared power which sounds like a pretty good idea its better than them killing each other all the time . so he didnt refer to killing any jews just a clever idea on how they can live in peace.

According to Bible, you should forgive your enemy because God forgives your sin through Jesus. Also, another from Bible, if someone slap you, give the other cheek, means that if someone did something bad to you, you should forgive that person. Another extreme is from the New Testament, "Love your enemy", which is very hard to be done. However, will you be able to forgive your enemy at least?

the Iraq war began as an Invasion to topple Saddam Hussein from power. But now that Hussein and his sons are dead, American casualties continue to climb. It is WRONG.

Yes, I know all there is to know about isolation, not being accepted, sexual frustration and what not. I'm a multiracial man, 38 years old, and I've never had a romantic relationship or even a real friend. All I've had are acquaintances.

I'm a researcher and I've spent over 90% of my life after childhood on my own. I don't know what is going out with people, and I notice that everyone only hangs out, dates and marries only those who belong to their own "race."

So, as someone who is a mix of several "races," I find myself in the position where I don't fit anywhere and no one wants to be close to me. Which is ok with me, I've learned to enjoy my loneliness.

Yes, people taunted me and I was bullied because I'm very small. Yes, I've asked probably over 500 women out for a date and so far I still have to hear a "yes." Yes, I've been discriminated because I was poor, foreign and short when I was in high school and in college (I never had friends in either), but...
