i have a iranian friend and he translated some of the things the ahmadinjad said and the isreal bit was a quote from a speech by ayatulla homeni . and he said if the palestinians and jews want to live in peace then you should get rid of the state of isreal and have a new democratic country where the jews and the palestinians shared power which sounds like a pretty good idea its better than them killing each other all the time . so he didnt refer to killing any jews just a clever idea on how they can live in peace.

The media is whipping up a frenzy among the general public, in other words they are brainwashing the masses getting them prepared in anticipation of a standoff by the west, ( mainly USA and UK) against Iran. prior to the invasion of Iraq
the same media mentality was at work,
People should wake up and use their own intelligence and stop listening to the trash put out by the media.
Until this happens we will keep on seeing our lads dying for lost causes

Yes.
You are right.
My friend also speak Persian and she told me that she never ever heard the the Iranian President ever qouted that before.

The Iranian President just stated:

Why should the Arabs pay for what the Europeans Christian do to the Jews. The Europeans are the one who persecuted the Jews for about 100 years.

Yet,the Muslim have to pay for what the Europeans did.

If someone ought to offers a land to the Jews,it should be the Europeans.

Media disinfo at artwork. *Iran's President has written 2 fairly philosophical letters to usa. In his first letter, he referred to that "background shows us that oppressive and vicious governments do not stay to tell the story". With this fact, Ahmadinejad has additionally projected the consequence of his very own backwards regime, which will likewise "vanish from the website of time".

He does and he has said that he does. Your Iranian friend is in denial. All Muslim countries want to wipe Israel off the map. That is common knowledge. But God gave Israel to the Jews. It's biblical. Israelis and Palestinians would still be killing each other all the time even in a shared democracy (especially in a shared democracy).

You don't expect the Yank and Israeli media to accept that they should do as is happening in Northern Ireland. the Israelis stole the Palestinians land by force and will never give it back. they still believe the old testament rules apply and the land must be cleared of other alters and religions.

the Irish conflict continued sporadically from the time of Cromwell till today so see no early solution to this.

Of course if the Yanks stop supplying arms to Israel than the war will die down, still suspect the Israelis over the kidnap of the BBC reporter.

Because it is the dirty propaganda enacted by the governments who then tell media what to say to the public.

Adhmadinejad never said those words, but Jews like to complain so much, it fuels their paranoia so well, it fits them like a glove. It is not Palestinians who don't recognise Israel, but the other way around. If Palestinians recognised Israel, no one would stop Israel from setting its borders where they are now, with the occupation of Palestinian land. Israel must leave first, and then Palestinians will recognise Israel. But we know that os not going to happen. Israel do not want peace, they want all the land. Stolen land ...

Israel is a democracy, in which Jews, Muslims, and Christians all vote. So if that's what the Palestinians wanted, they could have had it long ago. What they want is to have all Jews expelled from the region.
As for what Ahmadinejad said, the literal translation was that "the regime now in Jerusalem should be removed from the page of time." This has been translated idiomatically as "Israel should be wiped off the map." The regime now in Jerusalem IS Israel, and I fail to see the difference between "removed from the page of time" and "wiped off the map."

Because he is a Holocaust denier and has expressed the wish to eliminate Israel.

And he is developing nuclear weapons.

That's quite a combination, isn't it?

Now you have an answerer here who wants to blame the kidnapping of the British journalist on the Israelis!! In Gaza! Now we see the extent of the psychological warfare of the radical Islamists. They make a seemingly reasonable man believe the impossible. Just to set him straight, the man is being held by the El Qaida together with Hamas.

Please tell you friend that the main stream media wants to hire him. Just like the PLO,Hamas, and Hezbollah do not want to wipe the Jewish people off the face of the earth.
