WHY Dont They Send Prisoners To War Than Innocent People?????

WOW I CANT BELIEVE THIS,they should send prisoners who are sentence to life or something to war
damn millions of prisoners but innocents killing for the good not the BAD

GIVE ME OUR THOUGHTS PEOPLE

Well, one possible reason I could think of is...
some of these "innocent" people as we claimed them to be, are so patriotic and they really want to fight for their country. With such an ambition, it's half the battle won?

Secondly, these people are trained to handle war situations, unlike prisoners whom most probably can't run much since they spend most of their time under shelter and quite comfortable. Sending thousands of worthy and trained soldiers than millions of useless bums does seem more logical in the war.

so, in the first place, why have war when we should just live in peace?

I was just about to ask a similar question. So I agree. Why don't we take our prisoners, drop them off in the battle zone (like Baghdad) during the strike with appropriate gear. Once the strike is complete they are stripped of their gear. Where are they gonna run? They're behind enemy lines, like the al-Queda would torcher their butts if caught.

If they survive their service then the government may offer them one more chance at freedom in the US. hell, the system releases worse offenders back into our society.

Make them fight for their freedom, maybe they'll appreciate it! If not put them back in for the next battles.

p.s. they should be given no special training though, they should already know how to fire a weapon, give them the weapon and tell them.......Survive or Die!

EXACTLY!!! It is so true the prisoners who are sentenced to life imprisonment should be sent to War and fight cause I tell you what they'd be the first ppl to wna be sent home, they'd **** their pants within a sec of landing at the frontline, trust me it'll make them think twice about killing thats for sure...

I agree with you 100% I know that two wrongs dont make a right but HEY!! The time that they doing in prison can be used to go fight in the war in Iraq and plus they'd actually be doing something right like fighting for their country...

R.I.P to those soldiers and innocent people who may have died in the recent suicide bombing in Iraq and to all the other country who have silent wars we dont know about.

Yah i'm pretty sure they'll go crazy on us. I mean .. seriously we prisoned them, and now we're sending them off to war? Don't you think they'll come back to attack our troops and ruin it for US? Why would they want to help US out if they we're prisoned for life and had the chance to have machinery such as tanks, bombers, and etc.

sounds malicious but i agree i have always wondered why as well, but that would be too much like right or look maybe they don't want it to seem like a sort of punishment b/c even though they would be war fighting they woud still be free you know professionally killing and not trust worthy, babysitting? weird right? maybe iit did go through their minds but that would be alot to deal with. we'd probably have a hell of a lot of mess to deal with when you think about it.

i disagree i think if you give a criminal, military power of ANY level that's asking for trouble.they're in prison FOR A REASON.i agree that it would be better : their lives for the honorable lives of those there now.< and i have family there>,but to do that would be a disaster in my opinion.and to let them go on some sort of 'supervised missions' would be negligent of our govt to those monitoring them.Not to mention the cost.cost that we could use for other WELL needed services to the military and to the families of those who gave THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

1. they might just run away and not fight in the war
2. they may use the weapons against us.
3. they are being punished for crimes they have done. They may have a hobby of shooting things. and that is not a punnishment to let criminals play with guns.
