I'm open minded, but swindle and rob us how? That's one thing I don't understand... what would anybody have to gain by making it up?

Global Warming is real. It is true that heating and cooling cycles over a global scale have occurred in the past due to the 11 year solar cycle of heating and cooling and due to major volcanic eruptions. But the supercomputers studying the warming of the earth have seen nothing in the past to compare to the global warming now. Past explanations of cyclical heating and cooling do not apply to today's data.
Al Gore is not the only one warning us about Global Warming. Just take a look at the scientific community. Or just try watching the Science Channel...what an education it provides on this important topic.
There will always be some who doubt this obvious truth, just like those in the past doubted that the earth orbited the sun and called for the death of Galileo.

No wonder you've been swindled by oil companies for the last century.
People know there is cycle. But they believe there are additional changes to the cycle due to human activity. Even most of the Republicans acknowledge the problems too, Newt Gingrich, Bill O'Reilly and many others. Yes, Bill O'Reilly believes global warming is real. You can check on that.
Almost nobody think it's something to dismiss. They either think it is here already or it will happen very soon if we do nothing.

oh my god... you are a complete idiot if you think global warming is crap... it happened 2000 years ago and that was the Ice age that took place because of ice at the polars to melt... You really dont know how geography works.. Dont you?????
Man read up on global warming, the ozone layer, the effects of CFC gas that are released in the envionment by our Airconditioners and Refigerators, the green house effect and then some back and ask this question...

Rob you?? you have a weird sense of being robbed.
They are asking us to conserve energy and resources. To recycle and clean up the damn planet from the crap everyone has dumped on it.
Maybe you do not like living in a clean house that is running more efficiently but i do.
Global warming or not - we needed to clean up are act 100 years ago. We are way behind the curve. Strip mines, radioactive dump sites, polluted oceans and fast food that will kill us.

I dont think there is any doubt about the existance of global warming. The battle of minds to fight against it, is something that nations will have to do now.
Now for God's sake, dont indulge in a typical thinking that some money-minting is involved. Just incase some one earns by reducing global warming, it is a welcome sign of a coming-of-age society.

Yep just like in Philly..eveytime time it's gonna rain they act like it's a hurricane or a disaster...we hardly get inclimate weather except some wind or snow and they get everybody excited. Maybe Gore's just running a fever or he's gotta stop hanging under the heat lights at the fry station...His wife probably just wants him out of the house...

It is true global warming is happening and is creating a lot of havoc. But, can you really avoid it? There have been ice ages, ice melting etc in the past. Isn't it a natural phenomenon?
