we're being ripped off and the oil executives are making way too much money.

Still under $3 bucks here. We do need to look at inflation though. Gas hasn't went up as fast as other products. I use to pay $30 for athletic shoes but now the same quality is $85. I also think too many people live too far from where they work. We don't have an endless supply of fuel. There are plenty of fuel effecient cars and electric cars on the market yet we still see people in big SUVs. Plus turning off the AC will save a lot of gas this summer. Just look and see how many people do. More city people need to use public transportation or ride bikes. As a society we want everything too easy.

Weather is calming down to normal, and gas prices will fall if this continues and there is no strange activity for OPEC to consider like the 170 terrorists captured in Saudi Arabia last week.
Hopefully, mother nature is nice to us this year or the price will be higher than $4 gallon.

$4.00 a gallon. i only make $9.00 an hour and i drive 27 miles to work. By the time taxes are taken out, i buy groceries, make my car payment, and fill up my gas tank i only have about $300-$400 left each month to pay rent and utilities. my best bet would be to quit my job, get on food stamps, live in low income housing, and draw welfare. i would have more extra money than i do now. Makes you wonder if we were the smart ones or the lazy bums were the smart ones don't it?

Adjust the budget accordingly and get over it. Did I miss a part in the Constitution about a right for cheap gas? Nope, so stop buying the $150 sneakers, $50 a month on music downloads, $5 cup of coffee, walk to the corner store and so much more, simple really.

I live in the bay area, and gas in my neighborhood is around 3.60 a gallon for regular. I don't know if it is at 4.00 yet, they are predicting it will go up in the summer months.
I am lucky that I am able to I ride my bike to work. Public transportation, and electric cars will be the way to go eventually.
You can check your local gas prices at the link below:

I bet Bush and Cheney's stock went up.
This is awful how are people going to make it. The big oil companies made a huge, huge profit last year. I wonder what the profits will be this year?
You know the word of God speaks of these people.
"It is easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of heaven.
They better enjoy it now, for Hell is Hot and Hell is Forever!

The US government is charging us for the war in Iraq. You would think the Gas would be cheaper since Iraq is one of the main producers of petroleum, the Gas would be at about a dollar a gallon.
But thats Capitalism for you!!!!

According to me - the gas prices will be over $3.25 by Memorial Day and over $4.00 for the fourth of July.
They have match the record Billions of dollars profits that they made last year.
