Recently our govt put a ban on the fashion channel FTV for broadcasting something called "indecent". Few days before, AXN was banned. Wat do u think the govt is trying to do, and is it justified???

The government is trying to justify its existence and is trying to divert people's attention so as to hide ineptitude. It creates a smokes screen so that crime-laden so- called leaders remain in peace.

Yes ofcourse. Unless one wants people to become perverts. Not that only FTV induces this. It definitely contributes towards this. If FTV can fine tune the content to suit the cultural context of India, the ban can be taken out.

Our govt has no better things to attend to so they are just wasting thioer time and trying to make the people miserable... Its complete crap....
What they should be concentrating on is the infrastucture of this country rather than banning channels and books.
EWhat about the rajasthan court passing an order for Riichard Gere and that Shipla Shetty kiss. that is a waste of time... OMG are we just going to the dogs.....
No one is bothered that we are low on electricity, water is not available 24hrs in this country.... Jobs are hard to avail of...everywhere we go we have to put up with reservations and then bribery... and apprently what is more important is banning FTV......man are we focused and goal oriented

THE GOVERNMENT IS PROJECTING ITSELF AS A MORAL WATCH DOG..... IT IS STRANGE THAT NO PIL HAS BEEN FILED IN SUPREME COURT AGAINST THE ACTION OF GOVERNMENT......... ANY GUESSES ABOUT THE PROBABLE VERDICT OF SUPREME COURT IN THE MATTER .........POSSIBLY SPEAKER WILL TAKE ONE MORE OPPORTUNITY TO ADVISE THE LIMITATION OF JUDICIARY
