If a 'rock' can kill 33 college students, then yes. If a 'rock' can be picked up by a child and used to harm themselves, or others, then yes. Dude, I get your analogy, and as an Aussie, living in a country with the strictest gun control laws in the world, I dont have to fear 'rocks' like you guys in the US. The gun laws in Australia don't make me feel any less 'free' than Americans.

The Brady Bunch evidently thinks so. A few years ago, there was an article buried in the newspaper about a man that went on a rampage in a school and killed several students and teachers with a baseball bat. I proposed bat-free zones for schools and to outlaw all bat sports like baseball or at least have all bat owners registered.
Really, we all know that the reasons for gun control have nothing to do with safety and everything to do with power.

A drunk man driving a car hit a child and killed the child because the drunk man could not drive well. Should we ban cars? No. We should make it illegal to drive while drunk as every state in the United States has done.
People who have mental disorders that make them violent, dangers to themselves or others, could be added to the lists of people not allowed to buy guns. If that had been the law in Vermont and Cho's psychologists had been required to add him to the list, this tragedy might have been avoided.
It's sickening how easy guns are to buy in the U.S. We have a real problem here. Tightening controls over who is allowed to buy guns is only one of many other steps we should be taking.

If it had been a gun your other neighbor would probably be dead!! I DO NOT support a ban on guns! I DO support common sense laws to keep them out of the hands of maniacs like CHO!!! Anyone who thinks HE had a right to own a gun IS A FOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would certainly hope so, if 40,000 people died every year from rock throwing wounds, sorta like how 40,000 Americans die EVERY SINGLE YEAR in the U.S. from gunshot wounds.
