My family and I have tried to exterminate a bunch of carpenter ants which have decided to infest my room. We are not sure where they are coming from, so if anyone has any ideas of how to track them and kill them for good, please let me know. Thanks.

I just bought a tool kit of theirs and it was much less expensive than I thought it should be, so I want to be sure the quality is ok? I know nothing about tools, but since its a gift, I want to make sure they would be high quality, long lasting items. Does anyone have any experience with their merchandise?

I live in my basement. But my heating room is in my basement but in another room with a wall and the door. It is a pretty small room. Is it bad that I stored a lot of things in the room like boxes and clothes and stuff? Does it have a large chance of a fire starting or the room blowing up because its so packed with stuff and the heating room is mixed with boxes and stuff? Also the storage is seperate from the heater and all the heating equiptment. So is it fine or is it still bad that its in there even though everything is seperated and not touching the heating tank and that stuff?

I have a 40-year old gas stove that I hate. I want a new stove and would prefer an electric one over gas. Is that possible?

I've had the same shrew in my garage and siding for the past couple of years. Ideally, I would like to capture and relocate her. Here is what I’ve tried so far:
- Foam gap sealer.
- Copper wool: I used it to plug some holes because they can chew through almost anything else. However, copper wool is not very practical with the access points having since been elongated.
- Garbage: She had gotten into a garbage bag and even after being placed in a garbage can until she could be relocated, she was able to escape.
- Glue Traps: I have been fed up enough on a couple of occasions to use glue traps. She made a powder of the dang foam gap sealer and made the glue trap shrew-safe.
- Automation: I put down a “rat on a trap” toy which jumps and shrieks when triggered by sound or movement. She's not falling for it.
- Humane traps: She’s too small.
- Sonic deterrent: Expensive / not rated for shrews.
- Yelled "BOO!": She laughed at me.

Any suggestions before I go spring-loaded?

I am not sure if that is the right name for them but I am hoping someone knows what I am talking about.

It is winter right now and I am still seeing maple bugs in my room, but my room is clean, and has nothing that would attract bugs, but I don't know why I keep finding them.

Doesn't that annoy you?

Have been looking for some portable sink solutions, but they are either extremely ugly (plastic and designed for backyards), or extravagant (2.7k+). I'd prefer to avoid having to use a plastic tub or something...

Have been looking for kerosene for my outside heater and can't seem to find any. The 2 stores I know of in Maitland have the gas but can't sell it till the government inspects it, and its been about 2 months and it still hasn't been inspected. Typical *sigh* . So I am hoping to find another store near me that sells it. There has to one somewhere but I keep coming up empty handed even with all my detective work. Any suggestions from my neighbors would be appreciated!!!!!! Thanks!
