My basement is fully done and dust build up there like crazy. everyday i have to clean my things but it doesn't matter because the next day the stuff are covered with dust i have no idea where the dust come from its winter and all the windows are closed. any ideas?

It is probably coming from the furnace and if you put a filter in the vents that should fix it.

"Sweetpea55" might have the right idea, BUT, since our house was finished being built a few years ago, we have faced continual layers of dust all throughout the house, and that's even after we put in one of those ionizer air freshener systems, and dust regularly. I like to think the amount of dust we have in our new house has lessened somewhat, but that doesn't mean it has. It just means that's what I like to think. The builder told us that that's just what you can expect after new construction or remodeling, but I'd sure be glad for "the dust to settle" and quit showing up. We are a neat an clean family and we change all our air filters regularly. The dust, I guess, is what I call "construction dust" which has settled throughout the house during construction, but, what do I know. Maybe, if I'm right, it has to run out of said "construction dust" someday. I'll be damned glad when and if it does. God Bless you.
