Electricians license in Illinois?
Do you need a license in Illinois to be an electrician? I know the city of Chicago has special rules. But I am interested in the rest of Illinois. Someone said you didn't need anything to call yourself an electrician and this just doesn't sound right to me

I just bought one of those round blue blowup pools that everybody has around. It stands 3' high and is 12' across. I want to put it up, but my husband heard that any pool over 2' high has to have a fence around it. I've seen alot of them with out fences, but he's insisting that we can't put it up (a fence is not an option financially)
Do I need a fence? What would happen if I put it up with out a fence?

I used to live in Seattle, every stove I ever had was electric until I moved to the East coast. I really got used to gas and liked cooking with gas stoves very much. Now I have moved to VA where my apartment has electric. Why such a change? I tend to see more gas stoves in the Midwest or east coast and electric in the west. Is that an overall feeling? Why do you think this is? Or am I just too bored at work overanalyzing?

My grandmother has gotten herself into an extreme packrat situation. Her house is falling apart, and is packed to the brim with junk. She is in fear of losing her animals, because she desperately needs repair men to come to the house to fix things here and there, but she is afraid they would report her to the health department. I want to help her clean and organize her house, but I live out of state. I guess my question is, would anyone suggest any relevant services or tips for this crisis! Have any of you had to deal with this?

thank you in advance.

FLAMES. Luckily i have wooden floor otherwise it would have set my house on fire. My problem is i took it back to asda and they point blank told me it was not their problem. I had only had it three months but admittedly did not have my reciept. But i was not asking for my money back i just wanted a new hoover. Mine cost £80 and i would have settled for a cheaper one, with three children i just need ANY hoover. What can i do?

the plant is solid green, it looks more like a grass, with twisty, spiraling tubular growth from the center. It doesnt grow just straight up, but in all directions like a bush. Any idea what this could be? The one we had was indoor, and nicknamed the medusa plant because of the way it looked.

I have 4 bee or wasp hives that I know of around my house. Anytime I go outside I get swarmed by them and they are big.

One is in the mailbox attached to the house right by the front door.

Another is inside my bar-b-que

and there is 2 up inside my umbrella on my patio table.

My main focus right now is on the ones up inside the umbrella as I'm selling my patio table on saturday and need to get them out!

Thanks

We have dried fruit tree logs that has been laying in the backyard. I would like to use them for fire when I go camping. I don't want to use them if they give off too much sparks. The campsite is pretty dry and I don't want to cause any fires. I've look online for answers but all I read is about maple trees for fire. Can anyone help? Thanks for answering!

My brothers neigbours have recently built an extension to the front of their house. The problem is the bricks are a completely different colour to the rest of the house and its an eyesore. From my brother's lounge its all you can see. He doesn't want to speak to the man who lives there as he's not a friendly person. Is there anything he can do legitimately about this without revealing his identity. All his other neigbours feel the same but don't want to talk to the man. He lives in the uk. Any help would be appreciated.
