I just recently moved into a new apt..the toilets in the house have been acting fine up until about 2 days ago. sometimes the toilet will make gurgling noises and start bubbling and seldomly the shower will gurgle also. when we flush the toilet it rises all the way to the top and then slowly drains...my roomates toilet cannot flush at all..what could be causing this? anyway to fix it myself? someone told me its because toilet paper is being put in the toilet *doesnt make sense though* someone help please!!!

I wonder what Feng Shui experts say about succulents, are these plants feng-shui-friendly or rather not? Am all confused as on one side some succulents have round fleshy leaves which is very good according to FS, but on the other side they belong to the cacti family and cacti are known to be counterproductive. Am all confused now.

Are there any home bug spray that don't have that really strong chemical scent? I'm looking for one that kills ants, roaches, sliverfish, centipedes & all those other nasty bug that can get in my house. I remember my freshmen year in college I had an ant problem in my dorm that the school would do anything about. Ants were getting in my bed, so I took matter into my own hands by spraying Raid all over the room. Even though I opened the window my roommate complained the smell was making her sick. I finished college so I don't stay in the dorms anymore, but I wanted to know if there is an unscented spray I can use in my house so my family won't complain.

well i cant get a picture but i can discribe it
its about 1 inch long, mayb a lil shorter, but around 1 inch
its 2 parts the back is all black, and shiny and hairless
the front is yellow with hair
its thich, mayb about 1/2 inch give or take
and its always around flowers with other ones pollinating i guess or eating
whenever i get near them they rush at me like theyr gonna attack me then they turn around and head back to the flowers
theres usually about 4 of them at the entrance to my house
i live in virginia

then theres the other normal bees i guess which are allot smaller (1/2 inch long) that are on the other flowers but i dont worry about those, they dont attack me

I have a wasp (yellow jacket) nest underground at the base of my hydrangea bush. I don't want to kill the bush, but what can I use to kill the nest? I can't garden there due to the wasps. I can see the hole, right by the base of the bush. Even if I ignore them, will the re use the nest next year or is that not likely to happen? I don't want to use anything that may kill the root system of my bush.

I plan to buy a front-load washer, the salesperson said that I should also get the base for $200. I wonder if I can get the washer without the base to save money. What's the base for? Should I get one?

Hey everyone, I'm a total newbie for lawnmowers and need some help picking one out. I'm basically looking for a Gas powered lawn mower to cut the grass once a week. We live in a Townhouse so our lawn isn't too big. I heard Electric lawn mowers are not that great for cutting grass and take up a lot of electricity to recharge their batteries, hence looking for a Gas powered mower. Does anyone know the difference between a Self-Propelled, and a Hand Push Mower? My budget is roughly $200-300...any suggestions would be more than appreciative.

Our chairs are a dark khaki colour, but when people sit on them, white dust comes off on their clothes. I have tried a pressure washer, but the "dust" problem remains. I was wondering if their is a chemical solution or some kind of special cleaner which might do a better job.

What can we do to prevent this from happening? My roomate and I go through about 2 bags of garbage a week. One will sit outside in a garbage can with a lid on top of a balcony...Unfortunately we have been having really hot, humid weather, which causes rotting and (gasp) flies and maggots. What can we do to prevent, or at least deter these disgusting bugs from using our bin as a love shack?
