I wonder what Feng Shui experts say about succulents, are these plants feng-shui-friendly or rather not? Am all confused as on one side some succulents have round fleshy leaves which is very good according to FS, but on the other side they belong to the cacti family and cacti are known to be counterproductive. Am all confused now.

anything fleshy and green big leaves in fengshui is good; and anything with thorns is bad. thorns, in fengshui, emit bad chi - because it is considered as a "hidden arrow". it is similar to a sharp corner (even a 90 degree corner cement wall), when you are at the end of this corner - then the "arrow" is directed towards you, and this is considered bad. thus the thorn of a cactus is similar to this. a cactus without its thorns is good.

If the plant belongs to the cacti family, then the plant is not good for feng shui.

Succulents may be related to cacti, but they are not cacti so you should be fine.
According to this article I found, cacti are good for feng shui as well.
