I am 27 and decided it was time to move out of my mother's. Even though the idea exites me I can not avoid feeling very scared of the unknownI ask myself what would I do if I fail in this experience. Also I seemed to feel guilt because I help out financially and moving out means my family will need to reconsider luxuries or maybe look for smaller place. I don't want to be selfish. ADVICE PLEASE!

I have bought the squirrel proof feeders and the figure them out. I have hung bells on the feeder pole and the squirrels ignore it after a few days, they hang upside down and clean out a feeder in just a few minutes. I would mind if they ate some because I don't mind feeding them but I don't want them cleaning out a feeder in just a few minutes! Thanks for any help!

We recently moved into a house around alot of farmland. We were out weeding our flower garden that we are starting when we came across a snake, then another, then like six more. They are harmless snakes, just common Garter snakes or chicken snakes rather, but I do not want them around here, we have small boys who play outside alot. We are severely scared of these creatures, laugh all you want, but be confronted with 6-8 together at one time, lol. Please lend us your ears and your suggestions. Thanks!

Someone told me Kirby's have a lifetime warranty. Is this true? If so, will they cover it if it's not the original owner?

Is it the amount of rooms or square footage? Maybe the acreage of the land it sits on.

The materials have already been purchased, and I was wondering, how much I can expect to pay to have the work done? Is the labor billed by the hour, or per square and per window? It is ten windows, one of which is 9X5, the rest are considerably smaller, and 13 sq. of siding. Also 150 ft. of soffit and facia. The home is a single story ranch all straight cuts (except the gables of course) and no inside corners. there is nothing difficult about this one - should be easy.

I tried to hire a carpet cleaning company, but they told me they can't get rid of juice stains. Then I was told by someone that they can get rid of juice stains. But I don't know who to believe? I don't want to waste money on a service if they can't get rid of them. I was thinking about just buying a small piece of carpet similiar to the color and texture of my carpet and cutting out the juice stains and replacing them with the small piece of carpet. Let me know what idea is the best or if you have any suggestions please feel free to share. Any information will be very well apprieciated. Thank you.

I'm not as bad as some people are but there is clutter everywhere. Most of it is from my son's baby and toddler things that are no longer being used. What do I keep and what do I save of my son's baby stuff. I look at some of his clothes or other things and remember when he played or wore that and I wind up not getting rid of anything at all. My house can not take any more things in it. HELP!

I caught a mouse on a glue trap in my apartment. I couldn't think of a more humane way of euthanizing it, other than putting it and trap into a plastic bag, tying it off, and putting it my freezer. Can any diseases float around in my freezer and land on my ice?

I am in a late-model mobile home with NO indoor pets, on 40 acres. We have somehow gotten fleas. perhaps carried in from outdoors, whatever. I have an 8 year-old son, 5-year-old daughter, and new 5 month-old daughter. I am VERY reluctant to use poison. Any homeopathic/natural remedy for ridding our house of these pesky ankle-biters?

We have recently been looking into buying a home and came across an older home that we liked a lot. We know that there was a new septic system installed about 6 months ago and the ground above the new system is still soft (not muddy). Since the system is new, it seems unlikely to be a failure. Any ideas on why the ground would still be so soft? It has been an average winter here in terms of moisture. My main concern is the foundation (crawl space). Thanks in advance.

I have an aloe plant that's been in the family for about 10 years now, and he's still just a puny little thing. he's an indoor plant. lately he seems to be a little droopy and squishy. I have been taking care of him like I do the rest of my plants (which are healthy), but now I'm wondering if aloe plants need something special? any tips or advice would help. I don't want him to die on me.

I have a house with a small kitchen and a powder room next to it. I was hoping to tear down the wall that seperates them and make the kitchen bigger. How expensive is this sort of thing and how difficult is it for the average joe to do? I don't have much experience with this type of work, so is it something that anyone can do with a little effort? I don't want the roof caving in on me.
