I gave my sister this cuctus and we never could find one or get the name of it.. It is very soft feeling and looking. Grows like crazy all differant ways. Can someone help us with the name of it. It is so soft looking I would like to get another. It is not a flat cactus its kind of round.

There are a ton of different cacti (and some non-cacti with similar features) and it isn't really possible to identify a plant with just a description, unfortunately. If your sister still has the plant, you could take it to a nursery that sells cacti and see if they have an idea what it is. It sounds like it could be some sort of Mammillaria, among other things. Look on Yahoo! images for mammillaria bocasana, for example. They are round clustering cacti with soft spines. They are sometimes called the "powder puff" cactus. Rebutia muscula is also a soft looking (not sure about feeling) cacti.

maybe it is an aloe vera plant. They sort of look like a cactus, but without spines. They branch off in long finger things, and are soft looking, and have clear gooey juice inside. Great for burns!

It maybe "Hens and Chicks". They are a succulent
