So if I have mould on my wall and it doesn't come off easily when I scrub, and I apply something to kill it, such as tea tree oil, vinegar, bleach, dettol or whatver, when it is 'dead' what happens? Does it dissapear, or will it simply be easy go scrub away. How long does it take to die?

I just moved my bed out from the wall and behind it the wall is wet and covered with furry black and white mould. THe carpet is affected too, and the mould is starting to creep past the bed which is what caused me to look behind there. I am horrified as I have been sleeping right next to this for god knows how long.
What am I supposed to do?
FYI: The wall affected is an outside wall, I have looked on the outside there is no obvious signs of moisture, the wall is dry and there are no drains near that section of wall. I do not have mould anywhere else. I only have single glazing.

I bought a bookcase from Ikea and I lost one of the pins that supports a shelf while I was moving. Where can I get another pin, and how much would it cost? I checked the Ikea website and couldn't find it.

I used to have this Jacaranda tree in front of my home.
All that is left is the huge trunk and the extending roots. I've done all the work myself and I'm getting a little frustrated because it's taking longer to tackle this project than I thought. Do I really need to remove all the extending roots after the stump is removed???
Would the roots die anyways since the the stump is no longer there???

I want to build a home in Connecticut but real estate is so expensive that I am considering a modular or pre-fab (not a trailer) vs stick built. Has anyone built such a home? What should I look for and ask? Any advice is much appreciated.
