Are you sure they are wombles? I did not think they were in the US yet. Are their beaks yellow or red?
There are many questions here.
You can put out gingersnap and wiggle beer. I have heard they like that better than milk.

milk will do but mix with water as cow milk will up set their tummy,as it is to strong,womble poo smells worse than cat poo, do not put chicken bones as they splinter

not milk, it might upset them, how about some binliners and a brush, then offer them some hot bread and butter, always works for me
