pest control came out twice and the only fleas left were in the bathroom where the kitty litter and food bowl is..so i threw the rugs in the dryer and my roommate is freaking out thinking they will get into her clothes when she uses the dryer..help

I've just had two blissful weeks of my neighbours being on holiday. However, they have unfortunatly came back. They have always been a problem, being really nosey. We couldnt afford a lawn mower, we would hire a company to cut every other month. the grass grew to a certain height during the month and the lady complained to us. She kicked up a fuss and gossiped to her other neighbours about it, we heard offmy nephew who lives down the road tell us she had been stirring. Thsi isnt it, she also complained for my other half fixing his car in the front, it was a regular daily thing, it was a one-off fixing, we had a letter from the council for repeative noise and disturbance with car engines She shouted out other to me that shes reported me for other things like me walking around with revelaing clothing, like my nightie and even my miniskirt. I caught her once throwing a stone at our new patio table, i told her off, she hasnt done it again. but she complains and does other things.

We had a garage sale 3 days ago. My husband sold a pair of car speakers used for $40. He had just removed them from his truck not long before in perfect working condition. Today, the man who bought them showed up at our door claiming the speakers are broken. Not that they dont work, but that they are actually broken on the inside. That was not the case when we sold them. Now this man wants a refund. How should I handle this situation?

We have a real bad problem with flies in our garage. I have tired everything...the wather bags (doesn't work worth a crap) the fly strips work but only for awhile, fly spray (again, only work for awhile) I have cleaned up my garage and garbage outside of the garage and they still come around. I heard about spraying vineager around doors but does that really work? Probably just as well as the bags of water (which doesn't) I have also been told using a half empty beer bottle and putting it out and it will attract flies...it does work but then you get more. I guess you would have to put it outside. have fly swatters but that's getting gross. also heard of hainging clear 2 liter bottles and fill them alittle with sugar water or soda, pole a few holes around the bottle and the flies go in but can't figure out how to get out...does that work at all?? I need a SURE FIRE way to get rid or minimise my fly problem...can't anyone help?

With all of these "buy a home abroad" programmes on tv, I have started to wonder whether it could be a good investment. However I have heard good & bad, so would very much like anybody that has bought abroad to give me their view (rather than an estate agent) on where to buy, costs, the realistic side of things really. In the window installed airconditioning unit, does the fan blade supposed to touch the water in the pan and splash it onto the radiator? It's installed not completely horyzontally and the blade does't touch the water level, what's the right way?

Today, I killed three white worms. One of them was in an area between the kitchen, dining room and living room. The other two I am not sure where they were originally because I found them as I was mopping; I had already pushed them to an specific area. I almost didn't spot them because they were so small. The biggest one started squirming around, even then I had to get closer to make sure I was seeing correctly.They were white and seemed more round than flat, with what looked to me like a black spot on it's head. I am totally freaked out that they are a parasite! I have two toddlers, no pets, they were found on a vinyl floor. Oh, and we do live in the woods.
