I am not sure what your rights or obligations are. I would talk to a lawyer to find out for sure.

I had a neighbor who actually got her leaf blower out and blew leaves back in my yard! Then came over and told me to clean up my damn leaves, she has trees,we have trees and all the neighbors have trees,I was really wondering how she could tell they were OURS! Anyway we live in the country and so i called the sheriff dept. about this and he said the same thing how does she know they are yous? So they also told me to call them if she came over causing anymore trouble, anyway we never talked again, she has since moved ,but if they are such a problem work it out its not worth fighting about,OR you can just move

You can put them right back in their yard. Also, if the tree is hanging over in your yard the least little bit you can go to the judge and have it cut back where it's not in your way. You can rake it all up and set it right back in their yard b/c it's not yours.

It is. You're better off cleaning them up & using them as mulch. Or bag them then set them on her front doorstep with a note stating that she should trim her trees back so the leaves don't fall into your yard. If she refuses or ignores you & the branches are hanging on your side, you can cut them back yourself. Drop the trimmings in her yard though.

Take a deep breath and relax. You might try talking to your neighbor about allowing you to trim the trees back from the side that faces your back yard. If this does not work then you might try fenceing. Please work it out, too much anger in the world.............Happy Wednesday

I don't think it's illegal to throw someone's "trash" back onto their property, but I think it may be a waste of time. If you're gonna get out there and rake the leaves just to throw them back on their property, what if they blow back onto yours? Don't sweat it, I know it bothers you but don't go causing conflict with the neighbors lol.

You could simply rake the leaves back into her yard where they came from assuming that you are sure that's where they came from.
