We had the whole neighborhood help. It was fun. Yes, you have to dig out some of the dirt, so pay some guys that are bored, out on summer vacation etc.to help. Measure the size of your stretch of yard with the size of the pool. Mark it out with kite string or twine, then, if it's a Round Pool. Find the center. Put a stick, or marker peg in the center. Tie a string to it. And then while walking the circle, with the middle string. You can level the right area. Hope this gives you some help.

Afraid you're in for a bit of work. Only proper way is to chop down the high side so it is level with the low side. Cover with sand- to give a smooth bottom, then install the pool. OR, hire someone to do it. Don't try to raise the low side. The new soil will only compact and the pool will go out of level again.

You either will want to level the area in question, or leave the area as is, but level it by bringing in sand to level by filling in the low spots. Either ought to work for you, but you do need to get the area that the pool is going to "sit on", reasonably level one way or another.

You either pay someone with a backhoe to level an area, or if that is not an option, then pay someone to build a deck with the pool incorporated into it.

why don't you rent out some tractor-type machines and level a place to put the above-ground pool. goodness, that was hard.
if it costs a lot to rent out, whats wrong with returning it? why not geet a membership to the YMCA?

They make this thing called a shovel. Been around for a few thousand years. You flatten an area with this shoveling device and set up your pool.

Try levelling an area for your pool. If you can't yourself, there are landscaping contractors who can do it for you.
Happy swimming!
