I put a stackable washer and dryer in my hallway closet, but when I turned it on it started leaking water from the hose behind the machine. On top of that, the water started seeping under my pergo flooring by the closet, it's not so bad, but the edges of each tile is started to show. Is there anyway I can fix it? Maybe iron it with no steam or what? Please help.

The shower makes a whining noise when turned on. I removed the valve and worked it a bit. The problem is somewhat lessened.

How can I clean this? CLR? Where can I get a replacement?

I like to cook and bake however the gas oven in my RV burns everything on the bottom.

I cooked a pound cake yesterday at 350° and the cake was cooked perfectly but the bottom was burnt.

It's been awhile since I last baked and now I remember why I stopped. Even frozen biscuits are burned on the bottom. I don’t think I have ever cooked anything over 400°. This is my first experience with gas ovens so I'm wondering if it's just a characteristic of cooking with gas?

Someone told me an insulated cookie sheet underneath whatever type of pan I am using might help.

Any suggestions on how I can stop this burning on the bottom problem?

My electrician put an electric panel in the side wall of the coat closet in the hallway. Then someone told me it's illegal to put a panel in a closet. Is that true?

Is this just about the minimum you need to not blow a fuse? Or do we need to have an electrician add more amps? The home is brand new.

Give me something electrical/mechanical, I'll take it apart, clean it, fix it and put it back together with all the care of a midwife delivering a baby.

So why can't I manage to pull my cooker out to clean behind it, or lift up my toaster to get to the crumbs underneath?

Is it genetic?

In the last week, I've replaced light bulbs for 6 fixtures in my house. In one fixture, 2 replacement bulbs blew out shortly after I replaced it.

In addition, my gas oven (with electronic ignition, no pilot) is no longer working. The clock is on, the oven light turns on, but there is no heat, no gas smell).

Are these two things related?

I realize that the one fixture that blew 3 bulbs could be going bad, but I find it strange that this all happened at once. I find it hard to believe that this is coincidence.

Any help?
