how can we get hot water from this thing, we get hot for 30sec then freezing cold for 2~3 mins then hot for another 30sec, help us get a HOT shower please

sounds like a thermostat problem put it on to heating and hot water it may help if on hot water only try the reverse i am a plumber and gas engineer if this did not help feel free to email me

what is the newer item ? if its the shower it could well be that it is not compatible with a combination boiler. get your installer back. if its the boiler do the same. you need the correct shower valve . if things have been fine before try descaling the shower head. if the flow through it is poor the boiler will keep shutting down

if your heatings working then it may be a diverter valve and your just getting transfer heat from ya heating or u may have a problem with your flow switch,or your diaphragm may be split in your gas valve
