1400 sq feet of installing the insulation for $200.00 sounds like a good deal. it is hot and dirty work.

200 bucks is cheap considering the Itchy factor and depending on time of year U had it done it gets really Hot up there in summer and same temp as outside in the winter, plus how tall is your attic can U stand up or have to crawl everywhere?

That sounds like too little money, I wouldn't take the job for less than $400. You should see if you can get the homeowner to pay more.

i think you better check to see if they have insurance, it sounds too cheap!! get a contract and certificate of insurance in case they slip and fall through your ceiling. check for workers comp. ins., too. if he breaks his neck you could be sued so check your home owners to see if your covered. deal with an established contractor and protect yourself. it could be cheaper in the long run. good luck.
