My deck was painted by the previous owner and I want to strip the paint off. How do I go about doing that? Also, can I stain the deck after it's stripped of the paint, or do I have to repaint it.

One of the prongs on the plug for my vacuum just broke off. :(
1) How do I get the broken prong out of the socket in the wall now; and more importantly:
2) Is it possible to replace the cord/plug thing so that I can plug the vacuum in and use it again? It's not under warranty or anything but it was super expensive and I really want to fix it if possible. Any suggestions ? Thank you.

The down spouts come down from the gutters around the house and go directly into the ground. They seem to be clogged in the ground with mud, small rocks and silt...any ideas on how to clearn these? The hose is only about 5 inches in diameter. Thanks.
