I just purchased my first condo, and accidentally put a 3 inch hole in my living room wall while moving furniture. The wall is very thin. How can I fix this? Thanks, Lisa

Two years ago I put in new central air with a heat pump (although I don't use the heat pump) and it worked fine. A year ago, when I turned on the unit, I smelled a chemical odor that made me sick to my stomach. I had it serviced by the company that put it in and the technician told me to changed the filters. I tried new filters but no luck. This year I changed the filter again and turned it on. Once again the smell came out and I felt sick. Any ideas on what may be the problem?

Is there a product, spray on or otherwise, that I can buy commercially to fix a slow leak from an old pipe?

There is apprx. one drip every couple minutes. I would need to apply this product directly to the spot on the pipe. This would save me the major expense of having to replace the pipe.

The returns are flex. I unhooked all the runs that had water and drained them, leaving it unhooked to dry. I'm concerned about mold in the future. Should I replace it all at my expense?

I am a do-it-yourselfer wannabe with an excellent lawn mower that just decided to quit. It smokes when trying to start and then won't. I took it in last year for overall tune up and it's worked well since then. I have not changed filters, plugs, etc. but I did add oil and gas. Can anyone direct me to a general how-to guide on maintaining a gas-powered lawn mower?

When we took the cover off our swimming pool, the water was green. We put in chlorine and Shock, but now the water has been cloudy for over a week. We took a sample to the pool place and were told to put more chlorine, but it is staying cloudy. We also vacuumed it once. Other than draining and re-filling, what else can we do? (It is an above ground pool, if that makes any differennce.)

I saw a mouse run through the living room of my apt. the other day. They had the exterminator come out but I dont think he did anything. I bought mouse traps. But whats the best thing to use as bait? I heard peanut butter. But Im afraid leaving the traps out will attract more things, like ants! Whats the best way to get the mouse out?

There has got to be a way to fix aerosal cans , after they stop spraying, and you lose all the product. It just drives me crazy.

I don't knowif they have these programs everywhere but, here we have a Community development or something. they will come out to your house and fix up to $5000.00 of work if needed. They fix a/c's, appliences, and other major things. You are basically getting a loan that has 0% interest and has to be paid back in 15 years(in FL that is the deal) The County runs it and ours is through the Red Cross.
I just wanted to know if anyone knew what all they would fix? our central a/c is broken and they will be out to look at it but we also need carpet badly. We have had to tear up the carpet(almost 30 yo and torn everywhere) because we couldn't take it. Now we have partial concrete floors and a baby who will be crawling in weeks.
Anyone know what all is covered...............In FL

I have heard that Viburnum Missouri (Iron County) has no building codes. So some people live in less then perfect condition and landlords get away with not fixing things. Does anyone know if this is true? Could you please tell me where I can look to find these answers?
Thank you to anyone and all with any help you can offer me

see I used an adapter as the wall had only space for 2 metal things to go in. But the airconditioner has 3 metal pieces to the plug, so the adapter made it possible....anyways, I have no electricity in my house now. Is this my fault or is did it break the electricity because the apt is old and was gonna break soon anyways? By the way, one room has been out electricity for over 1.5 years already. Is this expensive to fix?
