After the huge downpours of last week all of my grape hyacinths are sprouting up again. Why? Does this mean they'll die and not re-bloom next spring?

Is my plant going to be okay outside, or are they best as indoor plants? I also thought maybe I could bring it inside during the winter, but I know they are tempermental...thanks

I stare at my garden, and it seems like it's all messed up, tall flowers in front, shorter, stuff in the middle. I've been a little leary about moving stuff now, in August. I live in Rhode Island, so we don't get frost until November or so, but I have never really been up on when you can and when you can't move things with out killing them! Mostly Hosta, Beebalm, cone flowers, black eyed susans, small yellow bushy flowers that I forget the name of. I also have a new Rose of Sharon that sprouted off the mother plant, and is flowering, but shadowed and I would love to move that too, into a more sunny, prominent area. Any advice?
thank you!

Hello, new to gardening and have a new house with no landscaping. I live in the midwest.

-I want to plant some shrubs (maybe flowering shrubs) but I want to know I can do this in the fall. If not, what CAN I plant in last summer/early fall?
-What is the difference between Deciduous Shrubs and Evergreen Shrubs?
- Can I plant flowers in late summer/early fall? The kind that come up every year? (I think these are called Perennials?) Any recommendations?

Thanks so much in advance!

I don't want to just throw it in the garbage. How can I make it work for the environment? Compost? Fertilizer? do I just dump the leaves on the soil?

I've seen some trees in the past that were in people's front yards that were shaped to look like a much larger bonsai tree. I've been driving around and haven't been able to see one.

Does anyone know what type of tree this is? I don't think REAL bonsai trees grow that large, but I'm looking for a tree for my front yard about 4 feet tall that looks like a bonsai.

Any ideas, advice? Thanks for reading!

I have an area set off already and found a huge ant hill right in the middle of it. I was planning on putting in some compost, maybe some peat moss or something also, into the dirt as well. I don't want to spray with pesticides or anything if it will hurt my flowers later on. Thanks!
