I have evergreens on my property but cant figure out why they are yellowing/browning in their leaves and falling off....is it a disease? Is there somehting i can check to confirm this? Or to stop this? Or maybe it is just age of these trees?

Here are pictures:

Landscapers charge us for like... $2000-$2500... and... we feel like... it's not worth it... so we decided to get the materials our self so it would cost less.. but i don't think it's easy because,,, first of all... bricks are heavy... secondly we don't have a truck to carry those bricks from home depot... so what's a cheap and easy way to landscape our backyard?

Can a live oak tree with branches hanging 25 feet over neighbor's wall and swimming pool be trimmed by that neighbor. Also is there a protected species ordinance or law concerning live oaks in incorporated areas of Los Angeles County

In my "garden" that I'm creating there is loads of moss on the wall, and LOADS of ants all over the concrete. Really, it's not a garden, its a small space with concrete floor that I'm going to start planting things in pots in. Today I just went down, and there are all slug/snail trails over the place. The garden is completely empty, but there is a gate that leads to someone elses much larger garden. So I need to know how to get rid of all the ants (repellant?), the moss on the wall because it looks damn ugly, and the tedious slugs and snails that are inviting themselves into my garden.

Thanks.

I love the flower on this plant and am trying to figure out what it is. I thought it was a hosta as the leaves look identical. But I don't believe that is what it is. The flowers spike out like a hosta but have a much thicker stem. The one I have has a white flower and is extremely fragrant. They have an oblong flower when closed that opens up to a funnel shaped flower. My hostas finished flowering many weeks ago here in Connecticut and these plants have just flowered now. I'd love to get more of these but don't know what they are! Any ideas?

A friend gave me a cutting of a jade plant. It has grown, but now it has white "stuff" on its leaves and branches. Could this be a disease? Insect larvae? What should I do about it? The plant is growing in spite of this.

I have a few sugarsnap pea vines growing at the moment. I was just wondering if there is some way to get them to be a bit bushier? They seem to just make a beeline from the sky, but pinching the tip off doesnt seem to help them grow more below.
Or should I just resign myself from each vine just growing a couple meters in the air?

I want it to look nice. I was hoping to create an edge between the grass and the mulch.

Any ideas on how I can create the edge?

Thanks for any help!

We have a yard of giant oak trees. Lately we've noticed large webs taking over the upper limbs of the trees and spread to other limbs and then other trees. The live oaks don't seem to have the webs. These look lake bucket size spider webs but are too high to tell if insects are inside. The web is clear white but are so dense we can tell if inscets are inside. The trees are beginning to look like they are losing there bark and not so lively. Please help me before we try to sell my home since the trees are the attraction point to our house. the limbs form an ark over our driveway making it look like an old plantation. I really need help fast! Thank you!

... can be planted on a small boulevard ? I am in southern Ontario... and have an annoying neighbour that won't stop cutting my boulevard down to the dirt. I want to plant something there that I can put a low edging around. The plants would need to be perennial.
