First one is Pennisetum setaceum (Ruburm) , turns rich purple red leaves and has dark red fuzzy flower spikes.
Has vigorous clumping habit.
Second one is Curry plant (Helichrysum italicum), hardy perenial herb growing into a bush about 2ft high.
Leaves have a strong curry smell strongest after rain.

Photo no.1 is of Weeping Sedge, a type of grass with coarse leaves and tall heads of seeds that develop later on in the summer. I'm afraid I don't know the name of the second plant but I believe it is a herb of some sort.

First one is a small alder seedling growing up through a sedge. The second one looks like santolina but the photo is not clear enough to tell for sure. There is a label on the photo, can you enlarge it to read the label?

Hi,

The first is a grass of some sort will get back to you with its name.. Brain not in gear at present..!!!

The second picture with yellow flowers is a curry plant. The Curry Plant looks very similar to a Lavender in its leaf stage. But, as in the picture, it looks totally different in bloom. And they stick rotten !!!

I think the first one looks like a grass called Alopecuroides 'Hameln' (Fox tail grass) Will be much easier to identify when the seedheads appear. If it its fox tail grass the seed heads will be beautifully fluffy - just like a fox's tail!
2nd one, very pretty but dont know what it is.

No idea about the second one, but the first is a grass. Really could be anything I suppose. You'd need a sample to know more. Could even be lemongrass.
