Motion activated sprinkler or electronic Cat Stop. Nothing to spread or clean up, and completely safe and harmless. More importantly, effective.

One sprinkler or two Cat Stops (on opposite diagonal corners) should do the trick.

Build a temporary outdoor litter box. Find a small out of the way spot in the yard to dig about a 3x3ft. area for the cats. Try not to water it and rake the area daily to keep it loose and poo doo free. Cats will prefer this new area to the damp, compacted and smelly old lawn and it's $100 cheaper than that motion detector sprinkler. RScott

I am having the same problem. SOMEBODY help US. After trying moth balls in my yard, and the cats still come back, the option of standing watch over the lawn does not seem to far fetched.... lol
