Unfortunatly i don't have a photo.
But I saw plants today in the woods that looked like daylillies. They were growing wild, had pink flowers and smelled nice.
they were growing in the woods in Indiana.

We are looking at a 717a commerical zero turn and a residential zero turn. We mow about 4 acres, slight hills, some trees to go around. How long would we expect either of these mowers to last with regular maintenance and upkeep? Would we be better off going with a lawn or garden tractor?

we are just beginning to learn about gardening. I was wondering if it really helps on the winter grocery bill by having canned all summer or not. Is it worth all the time it takes to do it compared to the amount of money saved?

This rose was introduced in the 1980's by Harkness Roses in the UK. I would like to purchase this plant from a UK grower, but the only grower seems to be in Canada (Harkness do not grow it any more). Does anyone know a UK grower still stocking the plant? Alternitively, if you purchased this plant in the past, Peter Beale's roses in Attleborough could grow a section from a cutting for me if you are willing to let a little 'wood' with buds go. If you would do this I would be eternally grateful. :0)
Thanks!

In our backyard there are some green berries. But we have no idea if they are poisonous or not. They are small about the size of a thumb nail and almost look like they are in clusters.
Any Info?

I have two very large and hardy plants. Those extra root things catch dead leaves and debris and make the plant bottoms look snakey and ugly. I see similar plants in other peoples' yards and I don't know if theirs are just a variety that doesn't make those, or if they've removed them. I have removed some of them with no obvious detrimental effects, but I'm afraid to just scalp them like I'd like to.

Tending my garden is my favorite hobby, but many of my plants have been killed because people in the neighborhood have decided my garden is a dog park. I'm at my wits end and don't understand why people would be so rude to let their dogs destroy my garden. There is no grass, just flowers. A fence is not effective because anything big and solid enough to keep the dogs and their urine out would defeat the purpose of having a garden and make it very difficult to tend. I can't sit at my window all day asking people to please take their dogs elsewhere. Please help.

I've had very limited success with hover-mowers, and metal bladed rotary mowers.
I've never tried a cylinder mower, but I suspect it would be better able to handle the tough conditions of my back garden.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

They've been laying on it a lot recently and I think it has burrs that are causing bumps in their skin. I've tried pulling it out but it always comes back.
Any help is much appreciated.
