What kind of oil do you use for a Toro 6.5 HP lawn mower?

I do believe you should use a 2 cycle oil with any toro. good luck .

SAE 30 W. Straight 30 weight in small, 4 cycle engines.

There should be a visible tag on the engine that provides that information if you don't have a user's manual.

check the manual, but its probably 30 weight

10w-40 in summer and a lighter weight in winter.
