I bought a lot on a resaca that had trees across the back by the water. We had a flood and most of the trees fell over. The rest of the property had been neglected. I have cleaned, mowed, gardened, planted everything from flowers to bushes to trees. I have a pond to put in shortly. And later an above ground pool. The back yard is just pleasure to go into. It is nice for me, my neighbors and the people across the water appreciate the green. I feed the birds and butterflies so there are just tons of singing birds and hummingbirds and even butterflies. Nothing is better than rocking in my hammock reading with the constant breeze and the sound of the water and singing birds in the background. . .

I planted a tree, but it was at the burial site of my beloved cat that died. It changed the surroundings in that there's a beautiful tree there now in a formerly dull space, but I wouldn't say it's changed the people. In fact, I don't even know what you mean by that...
