I planted poppy and nasturtium seeds last Spring. I have a 4 foot plant growing that has little blackish pods and some yellow flowers and I have no idea what this is...any ideas? It has large green leaves that are very soft to the touch, yet they are thick and hardy. They resemble leaves on an eggplant and they are heart shaped.

It's been growing great, but started losing it's leaves. Incidentally, we came into some money from an insurance settlement from a flood! The tree started losing the leaves soon after that.

The backyard neighbor built their fence approx. 5' onto their own property due to an electrical box on the corner of our shared lot line. We want to fence in our backyard should we, could we dare to ask to butt-up to theirs? If not, there will be approx. 10' of land in between the two fences. We were thinking of a vinyl picket fence. Will this look OK?

I want to get orange blossoms for the table for our first anniversary since that and the pansy are the flowers for the first year. When do they typically bloom and are they hard to find outside of Flordia? Would most flowers shops have access to and be able to create some kind of arrangement with them? I don't want silk, I'd really like to have real ones.
Thanks!

I grew some jalepenos and they are spicy, but not juicy. Am I supposed to soak them something or is that just the kind of jalepeno seeds that I got?

I need to set up some indoor grow lights for my plants, they need a bit more light than they're getting and I can't keep em outside (they're desert plants and I live in the north of england!)

Could anyone tell me what I need to set something up as cheap as possible. I know I could get a set up one for 60-100 quid but I don't really have that much money to spend, is there a cheaper alternative?

Links to where to buy would be cool too

Thanks!

I have two , one is doing fabulous, growing blooming etc. The other one some leaves are turning yellow and getting black spots, and the tips of the vines are shrivelling, and the blooms are not developing just dropping off.
They are both in the same area and are treated equally .
What should I do.?

Here is a link to some pics from my potted petunias. Although the season is almost over, they have had this "spindly" look all summer. Why are they like this? Too much sun? Heat? They are Waves, by the way.

The green leaves have orange yellow splotches on them and on the reverse side of the leaf, opposite from the splotches is some pointy spikey things. Then the leaves turn brown and fall off. It doesn't seem to be affecting the apples at all. But there aren't many leaves left on it. Does anyone know what this is or what I can do about it.

I cannot quite work out how to support the rock to ensure the water drains back into the "pond" below. The pond of course would be hidden from view by smaller stones around the base of the rock.
