i had to transplant some of my leland cypresses are they going to take?

also i trimmed some branches off will they grow back

Generally cypresses are very hardy (they grow wild in swamps, right). If you took care to retain the root ball and used proper transplant food, they should be fine. Any branches you have trimmed will not grow back, but they will grow replacements...always towards the top of the tree though.
