My husband killed a deer last winter, and we had the head in the deep freeze until he could get it mounted. Sometime the outlet we had it plugged into went out. The head had already thawed out by the time we found it, and boy is it funky. Does anyone have any idea how to get that awful smell out. I have tried bleach, baking soda, letting it air out for about a month. Nothing I have tried has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My garage floor was recently resurfaced and sealed. I did not like the way it turned out, and hired someone to paint it. It appears that even though he used an etching liquid on the floor it did not take, and the paint is coming up. What is the best way to remove the paint and properly prepare the floor for painting?

The wall is in the middle of the room on the first floor and my basement has drywalled ceilings. I was going to just fish it through and hope it made it to the box, but I wanted to see if there was a better way.

I have 3 (for now - more to come) closets that I want to replace the bi-fold doors with sliding doors. I have already removed the doors and painted the facing/trim. The width is 72 inches - would 2 X 36" doors work or do I need more overlap?? What hardware do I need? I'd like white raised panel or louvered doors. Where would be the best place to buy? The doors do not need to be solid wood but sturdy enough to hold up in a child's bedroom. I'm assuming a pre-hung solution wouldn't work well since all the facing/trim is already there? BTW - I am very ignorant about this right now!!!

I had new fencing put in. It's the new 1 1/2 inch electric mesh tape. Our fence posts in the front and the sides are 8 feet apart and the back ones are about 12 feet apart. We are putting the regular insulator clips on every post. But we also have tensioners or tighteners whatever they are called and we didn't put any of those on yet. How many posts apart should these be put on to keep the tape tight and in place? The mesh tape is powered solar not actually plugged in to an outlet, so it is environment-friendly and doesn't put a hole in our pocket. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY! please only answer if you actually know what I am talking about!

Id like to know how much space I can add on to my house. I have 8 ft on the side of my house and would like to expand on the side and want to know where I can find info on how much space I need to have there. Do I get that info from the city planning? Or is it on a county level? Or a state level? Who should I approach for this kind of info? Im in Los Angeles County. Thanks!

Fingernail polish remover was accidentally placed on varnish & removed the shine in a small spot about an inch circle. Would like to be able to just touch up & not refinish entire coffee table. Any ideas?
