Go to Home Depot or Loews (or any major hardware store) and get a DEhumidifier. They are not expensive! Just plug it in - be sure the window's are closed when you run it - and it will have an indicator light to tell you when the resevoir is full. You'd be surprised at how much water is in the resevoir (just dump it outside or down the drain). We turned our basement into a family room - but it gets rather humid down there, so we use one and it works GREAT! (Just stay on top of emptying it so it continues to work!).

The best way may not be the cheapest. You can buy a few dehumidifiers and let them run 24/7 in the house. This will definitely work.

Your AC unit might be oversized. This results in your thermostat being satisfied with respect to temperature, but it never runs long enough to cool the air through its dewpoint and remove the moisture.

Try raising the setpoint of your thermostat. If that doesn't work, then try having an HVAC tech reduce the airflow through your unit. You need to get the unit to run long enough to wring some water out of the airstream.

dehumidifier in the summer but once the heat is on in the winter you probably won't need to have it on. We keep our humidity 40-45% in our house year around.

The answer is keep it dark and eliminate as much sunlight as possible. Purchase dark linens to cover windows. Always keep the AC set on 70 degrees at all times during the summer. The linens can be removed to create light. when you need it. Also one time a neighbor of mine, sprayed her windows w/ a temporary spray to decrease sunlight.

You have to leave the A/C on. Just put it to where it's comfortable without shutting it off.
