It's not the sewing machine that will make the difference, but the needle you use. Although I can sew, my knowledge in this department is limited, so I would go to a sewing machine or fabric shop and ask which needle to use for vinyl. If your vinyl is exceptionally thick or rigid bring a small sample of it with you. Good luck.

The needle is what makes the difference on the sewing machine. Bring in the material to a fabric store if u can or a swatch piece. The people there are sewers are familiar with this and u can explain what u need. Also make sure to tell them your machine type. Some machines are light weight and cannot handle the type of pressure put on it. U can break needles even if u have the right one. Good luck.
